Everyone's favorite type of weekend : Hogsmeade weekend. It's a few hours away before the carriages arrive to take them to the village looking beautiful in November snow and Acacia is currently trying to convince her friends.

"Lily is not that bad." Clarabell backed the redhead up and Acacia sent a thankful smile her way. Clarabell is a halfblood and a muggle enthusiast, While Thalia is strongly against muggleborns, Adaline is conflicted.

"She's a Gryffindor and a muggleborn? Of course she's that bad." Thalia replied pulling at her boots and Acacia can only heave a sigh.

She doesn't blame her friends for being against Lily, They did grow up in households with prejudice views and something planted in your mind as a child can't just be removed in a snap.

"For me?" Adaline scrunched up her nose and gave in with a nod, The blonde's lip pressed together in a line she hummed and turned to see a still frowning Thalia.

"My father will kill me if news spread I hang with mud-Muggleborns." Thalia was firmly against Acacia inviting Lily to join them for Hogsmeade.

The redhead was understanding and let out a small sad smile. She wanted her first Hogsmeade trip with friends to be special. She wanted to be with friends and though she's not as close to Lily Evans, She wanted to get to know the green-eyed girl better.

"It's alright Ace. I'll be with Thalia while you and Clarabell go with Evans." Adaline announced with a smile and Clarabell nodded in agreement.

"Just promise that next Hogsmeade trip we have you all to ourselves." Clarabell who linked her arms with Thalia chirped and Acacia nodded getting on her feet.

"Come on then, I wanna eat breakfast before we head off."

Are you sure about this?" Alice asked Lily eyeing the approaching pair of Slytherin. Lily smiled reassuringly at her friend and nodded, "Come on. Lily can handle herself." Mary began to drag away Alice and Lily waved them goodbye.

Lily Evans was taken back to have Acacia invite her to go with her to Hogsmeade on the second dinner slughorn hosted.

Her friends voiced out their worries, saying it might be a ploy to hurt their muggleborn friend but she knew she could trust Acacia.
