Acacia didn't wanna spend her Christmas at Hogwarts but having no family left the girl waving goodbye to her friends as they exit the castle to get on the carriages.

"We'll make sure to write." Adaline spoke for the two other girls beside her and hugged Acacia one more time before walking away.

Acacia felt a little lonely. She was so used to  having her friends with her that a couple of weeks without them seemed like forever.

What do I do now? I don't even celebrate Christmas.

She did make sure to buy and wrap up presents and gave them to the girls just last night. She received a lovely quill from Thalia, A bracelet from Adaline and money from Clarabell who told her to buy a pet.

Clarabell wanted Acacia to have company but she wanted the girl who have the pleasure of picking her companion so when the carriages left she ran to the room of requirements and asked for passage to Hogsmeade.

She fell in love with a cat who had lovely azure-blue eyes. Being very predictable by sitting on a soft bed in the room of requirements, A book on the bed and she's on her chest. Elbows supporting her upper body to read and her cat she named Jewel majestically laid infront of the open pages.

Looking around the room in boredom but not complaining for she'd rather just lay there than do anything productive.

"You're bored aren't you?" Acacia asked her only company with a soft voice, Shutting her book close and she sat up with legs dangling off the bed. The cat crawled over and purred against her thighs.

"We should do something fun." With that she grabbed her cat who meowed violently in protest and walked out of the room only to bump into James, Thankfully not squishing her cat.

James had his lips parted and he was about to say something when his eyes landed on Jewel's who curiously stared back.

"You got a cat." He commented, His world from earlier postponed. "Brilliant observation, Potter. Meet Jewel." The redhead lifted up the cat and almost shoved the small furry creature to the boy's face.

James had to step back and let out a small smile while Acacia cuddle the cat closer to her chest, "So what're you doing here?" She asked casually looking up at the boy and raised a single brow.
