"Yeah the kids just sat down to eat", my mama answered passing us up with a plate of food.
"Good I'm starving. Can I have a piece of chicken?", she asked looking at her plate.
"Baby go in the kitchen and get it", I said putting her hand down before she got it off my mama plate
"Umm both of y'all want me pregnant and pregnant people eat, like a lot and I'm starving. And 'Xavier if you ever put my hand down from me getting food I will chop your hand off"
"Come on girl and leave my mama alone. And quit talking to me like that before I handle it"
She still took the piece of chicken of her plate and made a big mountain plate of food.
"Mommy fat", Papa said as she passed him up.
"I am not fat there's a baby in here so if you don't mind", she snapped sitting down in a chair next to his.
"Hey don't be snapping on my son"
"Don't talk to my mommy like dat daddy", Jaidyn said.
"Thank you baby", she reached over and gave him a high five.

"Well your son shouldn't have called me fat then"
"He's one, he don't know what he's talking about"
"Uh huh well you do and you're not getting any tonight since you keep making me mad"

"You know what take me home right now", she got up from the table and everybody watched her leave.
