'XAVIER'S POV
D*mn, who would've thought after all the sh*t I've done my marriage would end like this. I mean when we got married and said our vows it was for better or worst, til death do us part. I'm not dead and she ain't either so we gotta figure out how we gone work this out.
"'Xavier it's over. There's no more fight, but y'all life should be a book and a movie cause wow. So wait, did you really plan your wedding like the whole thing?", my mom asked me snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yes ma'am, it was beautiful ma I mean, I didn't do it by myself but I did it by myself. I planned everything and set up a lot of stuff with the family though of course"
"Why not hire a planner who could have their own crew come in"
"Because I was already spending a whole bunch of money on everything. Getting everybody there, the engagement, then the wedding, the dress, the cakes, venues. I wasn't paying for nothing I could get done for free"
"That's understandable. Maybe you should take her back or redo your wedding day and your vows if you want her back"
"That's not a bad idea but I know she's going to turn me down. I said exactly how I felt and there's no undoing what I said, there's no way I can take it back. Especially with it coming right out of my mouth, and not even just my mouth but a drunken mouth. And everybody know the drunken man tells no tales"
"Well 'Xavier are you two really closing this chapter in your life and starting a new book?"
"Yes ma'am. It's really over, happy birthday to me huh?", I stood up getting the boys and driving to my hotel room I'm staying in.
"Daddy, where mama?", Jaidyn asked playing with his hands looking around.
"She's at home. You and Bari gone be with me, is that alright wit you?"
"Yeah but I want mommy"
"I do to Jai, I do too", I said looking at him through the mirror.
DEBBIE'S POV
"So you're really going through a divorce this time?", my sister asked me sitting in the living room with me.
"Yeah. Oh Jasmine calm down", she was starting to kick me closer and closer to my ribs and I need her to not do that.
"Awe don't be yelling at my niece. Hey baby girl, how you doing in there mamas?", she said reaching over to me running and talking to my belly.
"She started kicking me more when she started rubbing my belly and I thumped her for head.
"Owe don't thump me", she thumped me back and rubbed her head.
"Don't be thumping me girl"
"Well why you thump me?"
"Because I didn't want her moving she need to go to sleep"
"No her don't she can stay up and move around all her want to", she said rubbing my belly again.
"Quit touching me girl", I said swiping her hand away from me.
"Don't be like that but for real you and 'Xavier are done, finished, no more and no longer?"
"Be together for what? I can do better and so can he. We should've broke up a long time ago but we let it get this far"
"Yeah for a reason. You know you not finna find nobody bet--"
"Stop right there cause I already have doctors hitting my line. People who make money and is saving lives instead of taking them. I don't have to be worried about police coming in my house and finding something illegal"
