Song: Varud by Sigor Ros

Waking up for the dinner party, I felt like death. Like a big pile of death. I woke up early and tried my best to think of the many reasons I should be happy about this day. There wasn't a lot. It may be the day before the wedding but it is also the day for many people to express why they are so happy for the happy couple which I am not excited about. I am trying my best though to be at least a bit happy about it because once Alexander is gone, I won't have to deal with him anymore and I will be able to get over him once he does leave. I don't know what to think about all of this. all I know is that things will change once again once he is remarried. He will finally move far away which will bring in a lot less stress for me. And I know that Jessica will for sure be happy that the guy will be gone.

Sarah and I did eat before we left, both of us in casual clothes but I know that I will take us a long time to get prepared for the rehearsal dinner. After eating breakfast, Sarah drove us towards the location where the rehearsal is taking place. I am not going to lie, I did become nervous. Yes, it would be ideal not to do this job but again, it is a job. Really no choice in that. I still don't know if I am prepared to see Alexander get married to another woman. I don't know how long the press will report the wedding. It will probably take two weeks until the wedding stuff dies down. Sarah and I did talk a bit towards the location, talking about how fancy the wedding will probably be and what it will look like as well as the number of people that will attend. I am more curious about the number of famous people might attend since Alexander and his fiance are quite well known.

Arriving at the location, my eyes widen when I saw the grand location. The building is huge with large windows, the place very polished and white. It does look like a large house that holds a few balconies but the area is very large. It just looked amazing. I did also see a lot of plants all around the house but not clustered or messy. "This place looks....gorgeous," Sarah says when we exit the car, looking all around us. The sun also did happen to hit all the right spots onto the large, brick building. As we were observing around, we finally see the bride with her sunglasses on a tight dark red fitted dress on with black heeled boots. "Sarah, so glad you guys were able to make it. The flowers look so beautiful! Just what I wanted. We had some of the movers set them up already." She says as she is walking towards us. Being so up close to her, I could see how will prep she is. Her lashes even look fragile on her eyes. "It was no hassle. I love the place! So beautiful. No one wonder you picked this place to be the wedding location." Elizabeth, the bride, nodded with a smile. "Yes. It is one of a kind." I did feel something in me but I didn't like that she was just smiling and being all happy. "Shall we go in? I do have a few things I would love for you to see about the flowers." She says.

Sarah and I followed her as we went inside the building, my eyes widening even more when I saw how sleek it looked, a lot of marble around with the bits of wood in there as well. But the place mainly consisted of white. A lot of it. "The dining area if over here. Please be careful. We had a lot of people set the tables up and everything. And the place HAS to be clean." She says while we are walking through a big hallway which leads to a large area which has a lot of tables in them that are decorated with a lot of glass centerpieces. There, we saw a few people putting things around and others talking to each other. "There are a few flowers I would like to set up alongside the room and I just want you guys to just help around with them because I do only trust you guys with the flowers and the setup. I do want everything to be perfect." She says. "No problem. don't worry about us, hun. We will do our absolute best to make sure the flowers are ready for the rehearsal dinner." Sarah says to her. The bride smiles before telling us the flowers are against the side of the room which we could see.

We started helping set up the flowers, Sarah mostly taking charge since she does know more about decor than I do. While setting up, I did become more focused on the work rather than what was going on around me or what I was setting up for. I just wanted the place to look as best it can be. The dining area is large and a lot of sun does shine through the large windows which do make the place look larger. I liked how the flowers also made the place pop out more with the different colors that both help blends in with the place but also stand out also. I admired more how everything does have a specific place. The woman does know how to set up a wedding. It takes Sarah and me about two hours and a half to set up the flowers, double checking them to make sure they are perfect. Once done, we did take a step back, Sarah happy with the end result. "Hopefully the client will like it too. An angry bride is not what we want.
