30. Happiness makes time fly...

Severus tried really hard to dispose his negative feelings and to feel more confident.

Nathan also tried his best to be open with his Father. He was becoming quite handsome as a young man. He let his hair grow out to match his style with his father's. He had a great talent in spells, potions and transfiguration but above all he had enormous talent for dark magic. Severus was always by his side, making sure that his son wouldn't lose control.

Bella was also turning to a beautiful young lady. She resembled so much to her Mom.

Charlotte was classy and beautiful as always. She had changed her hair to short pixie cut which complimented her facial structure even further. She was deeply in love with Severus and was trying her best to maintain being the woman of his dreams.

They had managed to adapt fully as a family. No one who didn't know would be able to understand that they had suffered so much.

When Nathan turned 15, he was already a powerful young wizard. Wandless and non verbal spells were completely mastered by him. He was very popular too and he had received the badge of Head Boy too.

Bella had also received her letter for Hogwarts, younger than usual, just like Nathan.

Everything seemed perfect.

- Severus, my boy, I need you to come with me to file up some old Death Eater cases in the Ministry, Albus asked.

- Of course, Albus but not tomorrow. Next Tuesday is better, it is the only day off for me.

- Don't worry, Professor Kim will take your classes for the day, Albus told him.

- Albus, I cannot take a risk. Professor Kim is young and he is not a Potions Master, he responded.

- I will assign him to teach only theory, then, Albus retorted.

- Fine then, Severus agreed.

- Good morning class, Prof. Kim greeted, today we will be doing potions together. Prof. Snape has an important Hogwarts business he have to attend, so just for today, we will be together.

The class smiled because Prof. Kim , who taught Spells under the wings of Prof. Flitwick, was kind, with a great sense of humour and with love for teaching.

Unfortunately, he was a former Gryffindor, so many times he did not follow all the rules and guidelines.

Instead of teaching theory, he made the class brew Felix Felicis.

- Today, we will brew Felix Felicis. Ingredients are back on the shelves. Instructions on the board.

All students gathered the ingredients and started working immediately.

All but Nathan.

Something felt wrong to Nathan. He had studied Felix Felicis during the summer and he was quite certain that one crucial ingredient was actually missing.

He raised his arm and picked very carefully his words ; he didn't want to insult Prof. Kim.

- Professor, I cannot read very well, is that Dittany you mention ?

- Indeed Nathan, Prof. Kim confirmed.

- Oh, I almost made a mistake, I thought dittany should be used with crushed salamander's tailbone.

- No, dear. Do continue with your potion.

"Shit!" Nathan thought "This is definitely wrong! Should I speak up or shut it ?"

While thinking it over, a fellow's Gryffindor Cauldron started to make weird noises.

Nathan only managed to hide under his desk the exact moment of the huge explosion.

He saw black and red fumes. He started feeling intense pain everywhere and he passed out.
