49. Good to be Home

When Severus saw his son, his eyes were watery from happiness.

Nathan immediately ran for a hug.

Severus sensed that something was bothering his boy, but they could discuss everything later.

- Go take a quick shower, because I have reserved us a table. We will dine outside to celebrate your home coming, of course.

Nathan was very happy to see his father again. He missed his Mom, but it was like a dream. He imagined that she was away for business. It was the best way to cope up with her loss.

While he was showering, his mind travelled to his rape by the Headmaster. That bathroom was sick. The thoughts he had of his father touching him in a wrong way were very disturbing for him and he could only blame the bathroom, since those thoughts never occurred ever again. Even while showering, his member was flaccid.

"How could I achieve an erection with such a fucking twisted idea ?" he kept repeating to himself.

When he was done, his father apparated both of them to a very fancy restaurant in central London.

He ordered wine for both of them, surprising Nathan.

- What ? You will be 17 soon, won't you ?

Nathan only nodded.

As soon as they ordered, Severus started asking his son about his year.

Nathan was sincere.

- I had a hard time to keep up with their high standards. But it was good for me. I didn't have time to think over the past. I never managed to figure out the exact location of the school, by the way. The students were really distant; I failed to have a decent friendship. I missed you so , so much. It was the worst part, I 'm afraid. And I really got angry with Bella for not responding to one single letter. Well, that's it, he concluded with a laugh.

- Bella is fine. I will tell you more later. But I must confess that I expected to hear of a girlfriend... Scandinavian girls are good looking, aren't they ?

- No girlfriends, Dad. I had so much study to do.

- Hm... then we should go and have a drink later. You are young. Enjoy your life.

- You are still young too, Dad. Do you have a girlfriend ?

Severus' face clouded.

- I won't have another woman in my life.

- Another man, then ? Nathan's question slipped without thinking.

Severus fixed his gaze on his son's face.

- Not an expected question, that is. Do you wish to confess anything ?

Nathan's cheeks reddened.

Severus never thought that his son might actually be gay.

He thought about it for a moment and whispered to his son.

- It's okay if you don't like girls, if you prefer boys. It's ok if you don't know what you prefer. It's ok if you like both.

His son looked at him with a guilty face.

- I thought I always liked girls. But I am not so sure now. I had some weird dreams.

- That is fine, as well.

- Dad, are you .. have you ever thought to do  you know ?

- With a guy ?

- Well, yes, his son whispered.

- I have, he responded and immediately thought of the wild summer when he fucked Draco.
