A week past, and the dance finally came! I was so excited! Jesse, Joe, Helen, and I devised a plan so that Jesse wouldn't be picking me up. Joe would come and pick me up, we'd meet Helen and Jesse half way, switch guys, then arrive with the right one for the dance.
Connie, who happens to be my favorite sister, helped me get ready. I wore the same outfit I wore to my first date-a v-cut red dress, silver pumps and a silver clutch. Connie curled my long brown hair and helped me decide on a soft, glow-y, makeup look.
"You look beautiful, li'l sis. That Jesse is one lucky guy."
"Thank you.... but remember, Joe's picking me up."
"Right. Boy, Becky. For a strict rule follower, you sure are breaking some big ones!"
I sighed. "I know.... but we're best friends, we don't tell on each other, right?"
"Who's best friends? You an' me?"
I walked over to my bed to put my heels on. "Uh huh."
"Right. I don't tell on you, you don't tell on me."
"Becky! You're date's here!" My Mom called.
I stood up. "I am sooo glad the boot's off! So... how do I look?"
"Cheap."
I stared at Connie.
"I'm just teasin'. You look great."
"So do you." Let's not forget that Connie was a senior at Bayview.
"Becky! Don't keep this young man waiting!" My Mom called up the stairs.
I smiled and descended the stairs. "Hi, Joe."
"Hey," he smiled, making me think, he's kinda cute... and he was.
"Okay, then. Let's go."
"Wait, wait, wait!" My mom said. "I wanna get a picture!"
Joe and I rolled our eyes, but we smiled as she took the picture.
"Have fun you two! And don't get into any trouble!"
"Mom. I'm fifteen. What am I gonna do? Guzzle three beers, get drunk, have sex, and get pregnant? I don't think so." So I had been a little on edge with my Mom. I don't know why, but I was starting to be a little rude to my parents.
"Becky..."
"Bye!" I grabbed Joe's arm and led him to his car. "How long have you been driving?"
"A year next week."
"Ah."
Joe drove like a sleepy old bear. It took us forever to meet up with Jesse and Helen.
"What took you so long?" Jesse wanted to know.
"Joe's driving."
"I told you you drive like a zombie!" Helen slapped Joe's shoulder playfully.
"Hey. Better be safe than sorry." Joe told us.
"Whatever. C'mon, Becks."
"You're motorcycle? Really? You couldn't have borrowed your dad's car?" I asked.
"That's what she said." Jesse pointed to Helen.
"Never mind. Let's just go."
We hopped on his motorcycle and drove to school.

Whew! Sorry for the long pauses between the last few chapters. I haven't been watching Full House as much, so my inspiration was running dry. Also, I got sick, but I'm all better now and hopefully the chapters will flow like clockwork!
Happy reading!
