•CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE•
It was over. It was all over.
The pain, the sweat, the heat.
I could feel it. Crawling through my veins. Claiming my body. It whispered to me at night, when the Moon was the most vibrant.
It called for him. The one who craved it. Craved me.
"How do you feel?" A soft voice mumbles into my ear, their lips brushing my skin ever so slightly.
I lean back into his arms, loving the cool feeling he brought to me. The breeze flowed gently, tickling my nearly naked body.
"I feel...different."
That was all I could say. All I knew how to say when it came to this. There were too many words to describe it, but different was the best one.
Hades trails his hands down my body, latching a hand onto my hip gently. One hand comes up, pushing my hair off of my neck. He leans down, pressing a kiss to my collarbone.
Something changed between us. Everything meant more, everything that we did...we experienced more. Our connection was changing and some part of me feared how dependent I've become. But the other part of me relished in the feeling of having someone to love unconditionally.
A surprised moan erupts from my mouth as he nips at the skin of my neck while simultaneously squeezing my ass.
I pull away from his embrace, turning to face him. "Not out here!" I scold, flailing my arms around.
We were currently on the balcony I never knew existed, staring out into the forest that looked as beautiful as ever. The sun was now going down, and it created a glowing look within the shadows on the trees.
There was a clear view of the village, which was lit with lights. It looked more modern, and the village people loved it.
He chuckles, lust in his darkening eyes. Taking a step forward, he presses his hips against mine, resulting in my leaning against the balcony rail.
His hands encase me in, leaving no room between us. "Why not? You didn't come out here with this," he grabs onto the lacy red nightgown, " for nothing."
He's completely right. I had just recently journeyed to Earth, and Desa thought it was a good idea to take a trip to Victoria's Secret. Because of this, I forced her to get some pieces also.
I decided to buy this red lacy piece, that came with a lacy see through bra paired with matching underwear.
I shrug, feigning nonchalance as I glance down at it. "Oh, this thing? I was thinking of wearing it around the castle. I know that handsome man that came with Poseidon hasn't le-"
I squeal in fear and surprise as I'm suddenly whipped around, my front to the railing. The wind is a little stronger now, my hair hitting my face repeatedly.
"What were you saying, Samira?" Hades growls in my ear, his hands a tight grip on my hips.
I glance down at the ground below me, my eyes widening in fear.
