Chapter Thirty: The break...

With Gaara, he had finally gotten to Sasuke's place but he wasn't the only one there, he saw that Naruto and Kiba were there as well. Sasuke greeted Gaara before the four of them went inside and they went to the living room where Naruto and Kiba went back to play the game that they were playing beforehand. As they did Gaara spoke with Sasuke.

Sasuke waited for the answer from Gaara only for him to sigh out as he rubbed between his eyes. "I thought about the questions you had asked me Sasuke...I think it might be that bad...Especially since she didn't know exactly what happened yesterday."

Sasuke rose an eyebrow at Gaara." Just what the hell did you do to Sarina to make her cry?"

Gaara sighed once more before he looked to Sasuke. "I think she internally knew just what would happen..." Gaara said before he explained what happened the previous day.

What happened the previous day...

Gaara was sitting with Sarina making a sand castle with her to keep her mind occupied due to her saying she didn't like being around a lot of people. He had kept his attention on her until he had seen the two piece swim suit that Matsuri had worn, his eyes immediately went onto her as he got up to greet her. "Hey Matsuri I didn't think you'd be here."

"Of course I'd be here! I got an invite from Temari!" She said happily as she showed the invite to him.

His teal eyes widen in shock as he realized that's why she was there. "Then enjoy yourself-I need to keep Sarina company."

"Aww c'mon-I got dressed up just for you. Please spend time with me? Just for a bit? She won't be going anywhere right?"

Gaara looked between Matsuri and Sarina only to sigh and look back to Matsuri. "Fine, just for a little while. Then I need to go back to Sarina."

Matsuri happily held his hand as they walked off for a bit as they did two of Matsuri's friends-Yakata and Genia came over towards the two of them. The four of them spent most of the time in the water. Yakata then mentioned after awhile something that caught Gaara's attention.

"You two really should date again, you two look so happy and cute together."

Before Gaara could say anything Matsuri had hugged his arm and kissed his cheek. "Saying we're not? C'mon get real Yakata!"

Yakata squealed out happily and smiled at the two of them. "I'm so glad to hear it! So Gaara how did you break it off with that one transfer student?"

​​​​"You got it all wrong-" Gaara said before Matsuri had tacked him over into the water before kissing him on the lips.

He glared at her as she giggled and smiled at him. "For today please act like we did before? Pretty please?" Matsuri asked pleadingly

"No-Sarina's my girlfriend not you."

"Sarina this-Sarina that. That woman isn't anything good for you-She isn't as pretty or smart as I am. Why do you continue to try to be with her? She's just going to hurt you and leave you for dead." Matsuri asked sadly

"Because I love her, and she's everything you're not, which is just fine with me." Gaara said as he pushed the brunette woman off of his chest

"Gaara! You'll pay for that!" Matsuri screeched out before she chased Gaara on the beach

Gaara went to find where Sarina went off to but he couldn't find her-it confused him but his thoughts stopped when he was tackled down by Matsuri and Yakata who then proceeded to bury Gaara in the sand quickly so he couldn't move. Soon after they finished Yakata had went to play volleyball with the other people there which left Matsuri and Gaara there alone. Matsuri placed herself on top of Gaara as she looked down at him.
