Chapter twenty three: Birthday surprise part two

When Temari and Gaara got Sarina into the house Kankuro had to hush people that were there to surprise her. When she was in the middle of the room looking at what was done for her birthday Temari took the blind fold off of her eyes as Gaara stood beside her. Once Sarina could see once more she instantly covered her mouth as she saw that they had planned a surprise birthday party for her. Sarina's brown eyes coasted throughout the people only for her eyes to find two people she thought were dead.

"S-Sis...Marcus..." She said before she teared up

Sabrina and Marcus both went up to her as Marcus placed a hand on the top of her head. "Hey, happy birthday."

Sarina instantly backed away from him and hid herself behind Gaara scared. Marcus was shocked to see just how fast she was to hide herself.

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU TWO HERE!? I THOUGHT YOU TWO DIED YEARS AGO!" She yelled scared as she sobbed out

"Mom and dad kicked us out of the house when they found your journal that you kept in the basement as well as looked at the footage from the camera hidden in there and in the other rooms. I was disowned and pretty much kicked to the curb by father as Sabrina was given the boot for some...very odd things that she had said about you at the time since neither one of us knew how to cook." Marcus said with a sigh

"Then where the hell have you two been this entire time?! You two knew I went out to the store! Why didn't you went to find me?!" Sarina said sadly as she kept her hold on the back of Gaara's shirt.

"We didn't find you because we didn't want you to be hurt even more. The police found us and had us go through foster care till now. Marcus was able to get me out of the system and has been taking care of me. I've just recently gotten back in touch with Kankuro who told me that he was going to throw you a surprise birthday party-knowing that this is the first time you're actually being accounted for today, I couldn't help but pounce on the moment to see you again." Sabrina explained

" I hate you two...I hate you two so damn much. Get the hell out of my life, I refuse to see you two anymore, because of you two I've lived in fear and lost trust in a lot of people. It's also because of you two that I get bullied a lot thanks to Itachi and Ino telling people just what you two have done to me in the past." Sarina said sadly

Sabrina and Marcus looked to one another before Sasuke spoke up. "I told you two that she'd hate you two for what you've done to her. She's grown as a person while you two have been ignorant and stupid. This is what happens when you don't treat her like family." Sasuke said seriously

Marcus narrowed his eyes at Sasuke. "You aren't with her are you?"

"Oh yuck! No Sasuke is my friend!" Sarina said shaking her head

Sasuke smiled a bit at Sarina. "The feeling is mutual. We're friends nothing more. I'm with Sakura-not your neglected sister." Sasuke said as he looked from Sarina to Marcus

"Then who the hell is with you Sarina? Kankuro said that you had gotten with someone." Sabrina asked

"Who else would I have been with moron, for once shut your mouth and think." Sarina hissed out coldly to her elder twin sister

Sabrina blinked her eyes a few times before she narrowed her eyes. "Oh fuck no-you aren't being with him if I'm rekindling my love for Kankuro. Stop that right now. I'm not having you with someone who'd eventually be your brother in law."

"That's not going to happen." Kankuro said seriously as he placed his hand on the top of Sarina's head. "While you've been MIA I've really gotten to know your younger sister she's a lot better than you are. Not saying that I'd ever take her from my little brother but I agreed to be your friend-nothing more. I'm actually seeing someone else since you never gave me any sign that you were still alive."
