Have you ever wondered how different your life would be if one thing was changed? Like if you were brought up by someone other than your parents or if you had a sibling or no siblings or if you had never met a certain person or maybe if you met someone earlier or later in your life than you did meet them?
It's crazy to think about, isn't it? How drastically different our lives could be if one tiny little thing was different?
Well I wonder about things like this all the time. How would my life be different if my parents actually liked me, and were proud of me like they were proud of my little sister? How different would my home life be if Marie was never born, or a boy instead of a girl? What would my life be like without Roxanne and Isabella?
Life is full of choices and most times we don't even know we're making a decision until we look back on that moment in the future. And I guess that's why the future is so hard to predict. There are so many possible outcomes, consequences and benefits that can all be caused by the same action that just thinking about the future and planning too far ahead is pointless. I mean, if someone from the future had come back and told me who I would end up marrying or how Isabella would change so quickly, I honestly would have called them crazy and done my best to avoid ever seeing them again.
And because of all this I realize that I can't start this story after Isabella changes or when I met 5 Seconds of Summer; I have to start from the very beginning, which is the day Ella and Roxie told me about The Letter Project, I suppose.
Now that I think about it...I wonder how different my life would be if I hadn't gone through with The Letter Project?

A/N: A few important things to know:
I will put the word count at the bottom and this will be how long the chapter is, NOT including the Author's Note, and according to Google Docs, which is where I write everything.
I'm going to put a 'Song of the Chapter' at the end of each Chapter. These are songs I want to share, and that I feel relate to the chapter in some way. It'll look like this :
Song of the Chapter: Black Horse and the Cherry Tree by KT Tunstall
And a video of the song will be at the top.At the end of the book, there's a part called 'playlist' which has all of the 'Song of the Chapter' songs in order, from prologue - epilogue, for your convenience. I have also made a Spotify playlist of these very songs, which you can access here: Or on my Profile, at the top of the Conversations section, there will be a list of titles and links for all of my stories that have Playlists.
There won't usually be a dedication, but if there is, it will be put here, in the AN. This chapter is dedicated to @Escapism_ because she inspired me to actually write and publish this story.
