“We’re going for burgers! Luke, do you want to join us?” Ashton asked with Calum and Michael in tow.
“Nah, just bring me something back.”
“Okie dokey! Will do!”
I knew they would try to prank me of course. But I’m going to eat while they’re gone anyway. They can’t fool me anymore. I got up five minutes after they left to make myself some soup, but got interrupted by Jackson, our bus driver. He’s a cool guy, and usually the one to give mr Lyra’s Letters, though how he gets them I’m not sure.
“Luke! Hey buddy, there’s another letter for you. Are you sure you don’t have a secret girlfriend?”
“I’m sure Jackson. If I had a secret girlfriend, we would text, not send letters. Besides, I haven’t even met Lyra before. You know that!”
“Whatever you say man.” He handed me the letter and sat down in the drivers seat. I ripped it open, my appetite forgotten.
Dear Luke,
So, pranking huh? Well first I should tell you how excited Roxie was hear you wanted help with pranking. (After she got over the embarrassment of us saying how cute she and Michael would be together, of course.) {NOT TRUE! SHE’S LYING! [That was Roxie.]} Anyway, I’ll let her tell you the plan she came up with on another page.
I’m doing quite well. Isabella has gotten worse, she tried the whole ‘No one likes you, no one ever will’ approach, and Roxie pretty much banned her from even thinking about us. It started with Roxie telling Isabella that she doesn’t deserve to call her by a nickname (her full name is Roxanne) so Isabela asked ‘sweetly’ what he could call Roxie, and Roxie said she didn’t deserve to even think about us and to not even try in the future.
I’ve started making a little progress with Marie, we both spent the night at Roxie’s because our parents were having a business party, and we didn’t fight at all. Actually, we teased Roxie in the car after school, and we worked together to help Roxie and her parents to prank her brothers. Roxie usually pranks her whole family on St. Patrick’s Day, but she made a deal with her parents last year: If Roxie didn’t prank them this year, they would help her prank her brothers and she wouldn’t get in any kind of trouble for it. As for my parents, well, they often ignore me, but when they do acknowledge me, it’s abuse. Less than two months to go through!
I’m excited to meet you and your bandmates, and Nora troo! I’m probably more excited than all five of you put together actually. Roxie and I separately are probably more excited than the five of you put together. I may seem calm and composed in these letters, but I’m actually silently freaking out right now, just thinking about meeting you all, but just about bursting from excitement too.
Finally, Roxie and I would absolutely LOVE to travel the world with you guys! But there was a flaw in your plan: The picture. It’s fine, taking a picture of them and all, but you’ll have to ask them, make them PROMISE you that they won’t post the picture on any kind of social media until after you guys have tweeted about going to that place. Otherwise people will figure it out. That’s all! Other than that,it’s a flawless plan! I can’t wait!
Look at the second piece of paper in private for your revenge pranks.
-Lyra
I pulled out the second piece of paper, thanking God, once again, that I was alone. Written down was a short note from Roxie and a list of pranks with directions of how to be successful doing them. Her writing was neat and easy to read, much like Lyra’s.
Hey Luke. Roxie here. This is a how-to of revenge pranks, with a list of everything you’ll need. Have fun! Make sure you record everything, and put it on YouTube or something. I don’t care. I just want to see my mastermind pans put to work! And know what others think of them. You have two rules to do this, though the first one doesn't really matter, since it’s going to be given to the world. One: Don’t get caught. Two: Have fun!
To Calum: Hot Sauce and Vinegar
What You’ll need:
-Hot Sauce
-Vinegar
-A Cup
-A sleeping CalumWhat to Do:
Pour a glass of Vinegar and put it next to the nearest sink. Then, when Calum is sleeping, Pout hot sauce in his mouth and back away. When he jumps up and freaks out, say there’s a glass of water at the sinl for him. Then sit back and watch!
To Ashton: What Happened To My Screen?!
What You’ll need:
-Ashton’s PhoneWhat to Do:
Look up a picture of broken glass and set it as Ashton’s background. You choose when to tell him it’s not real, let him go into the store and have them tell him it’s a background, or let him find out through watching the video!
To Michael: The Mystery of the Frozen Screen
What You’ll need:
-Michael’s PhoneWhat to Do:
Take a screenshot of Michael’s home screen and set it as his background. Hide the icons and watch as he tries to tap the non-existent icons.
To All: Where Is That Sound Coming From? and Toothpaste Oreo’s
What You’ll need:
-Old Fashioned Alarm Clocks (The kind that don’t go off unless you turn them off)
-Sleeping Friends
-White Toothpaste - Any flavor
-Oreo’sWhat to Do:
Set the alarm clocks to go off at the same time and hide them around the room, or the bus. Make sure to give yourself enough time to set all the alarm clocks and hide them. Record the result.
When no one is looking, take out the filling from an Oreo and replace it with toothpaste. Choose to do a whole package or just a plateful. Leave them where they will be found and keep an eye out for anyone who goes to eat one.
These are brilliant! I asked Jackson to help me pull everything off and he agreed. We set everything up while the other three were still out and once everyone was asleep, we prepared Ashton and Michael’s phones. We set all the alarm clocks (we went to the nearest store and bought twenty) and hid them all over the bus. We were ready, and everyone else on the bus with us was in on the pranks. Apparently, the boys had been pranking everyone, not just me. Everyone was happy to help get back at them.
Let’s just say, the next day was full of non-stop laughs.
And the best part? It’s all on Camera.
A/N: So. . . yeah. I hope you enjoyed it!
