- Friday, April 13th -

I woke up to voices.

"Where is he? He's going to miss her waking up?"

"I don't know. None has seen him since he walked out earlier."

There was a silence here. I chose not to open my eyes yet. I was confused, I was tired, and everything hurt. Plus, I wanted more information.

"Guys. His stuff isn't in the hotel room. He's left!"

"What? He's gone?"

"Yeah. I didn't realize until now. Something was off in the room and I didn't realize his things were gone until I was thinking about it just now."

"This isn't good."

There was another silence here. I recognized who was speaking now, and the pain was starting to fade everywhere but in my ribs. It was so painful.

"But why would he leave?"

"Something must have snapped in his brain. You know, when he heard that it was unlikely she would make it? no one's seen him since and his stuff is gone. He's gone somewhere, and he doesn't want to be found. At least. Not yet."

I wanted to keep listening, but the pain was unbearable now. I needed aspirin, ibuprofen, something to help with the pain. I couldn't help it. I groaned. The whispers stopped instantly. I knew they were looking at me. I groaned again as I opened my eyes, winced from the light., then took in a fast, sharp breath from the pain that shot through my ribs from the wince. But that hurt too. Basically, it hurt to move.

"Hey Lyra. How're you?" I heard Roxie ask.

I could barely talk the pain was so bad. "Pain. . need. . pain. . killers."

"Oh! I'll call the nurse."

A few seconds later, I heard the door open.

"Now dear, try not to move. You've fractured one rib, and broken another two. And you have a head injury. It'll take a few minutes for the painkillers to work, but give it time."

I felt something enter through a needle in my arm. It must have been there and I didn't notice it. little while later, I could breathe without it hurting too much.

"Now, I need you to answer a few questions, okay?"

"Uh-huh."

"What is your name?"

"Lyra."

"Full name?"

"Lyra Arabella Faulls." I said confidently.

"How Many siblings do you have, and what are their names?"

"One, Marie Rose Faulls. She's thirteen."

"What are your parents names?"

"Helena and Darrel Faulls."

"How old are you?"

"Seventeen."

"When s your birthday?"

"May 13th, 1996."

"What's the last thing you remember?"

"Being pulled me off a bridge, a lot of pain, and then someone telling me they love me." I heard gasps when I said that.

"Can you name the people in this room, and their relation to you?"

I looked around and named everyone as I saw them. "Roxie Kane, best friend, Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Nora McLeod, close friends from Australia. The boys are part of the band 5 Seconds of Summer. Luke hemmings is their final bandmate, and I know him too."
