- Saturday, August 6th -

I stared out the window of the car, watching familiar scenery pass by. We had just left the airport, and we were on our way home, to spend a few months writing and just living for a while.

"I bet we're gonna have a lot of fan-mail waiting for us when we get home." Ash said with a sigh. He was exhausted - we all were. We had just gotten home from a charity concert, and only a week or two ago, we had come home from tour. After today though, we would just get to relax for a few months.

"Yeah. You're probably right." Calum agreed.

"Should we make a video of us opening it?" I suggested. "We haven't done that in a while."

"The fans would like that. Why not?" Mikey agreed enthusiastically. He was the only one who'd fallen asleep on the plane.

"One problem. Does anyone remember where the camera is?" Ashton asked.

"I do." Calum claimed. "I'll get it. After I pee."

----------

"Home sweet home!" Ash sang softly as he walked through the door.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Calum pushed past him and ran to the bathroom.

Mikey laughed and went to plug his phone. As soon as it came on, he called someone. I slowly followed Ashton who was waiting for the bathroom. I walked past him silently, because I was so tired.

In the kitchen just as Ash had predicted, there was a huge pile of envelopes on the table. Someone from management must have brought them all in. I sat down and started picking up handfuls, separating it all into four parts, so we could all reach envelopes, and so the camera would see us all. When I got to the last few envelopes, I started paying attention to the adresses a bit more, and found one that was addressed differently than the rest. Instead of being addressed to all four of us, or just '5 Seconds of Summer', it was only addressed to me.

Odd.

I decided to open this one while I waited for the others. It was, after all, only for me. I sat down and opened the envelope, not even checking to see if there was a return address, and pulled the letter out.

---------

"Why'd you start without us?" I heard Ashton ask. I looked up at his voice, which sounded hurt. I pointed at the envelope on the table in stunned silence, and he picked it up.

Mikey, who had the camera for some reason, put it on the table, then joined Calum behind Ashton to read the address label.

"Ooh! Someone's got an admirer!" Calum exclaimed, wiggling his eyebrows.

"A secret admirer at that! There's no return address!" Mikey agreed, also wiggling his eyebrows. "And she's not Australian either! It has that barcode thingy that represents that it was an international letter!"

Michael and Calum looked at each other for a moment, before dancing around the empty kitchen, as if it were a club. As they danced, they sung 'Lukey has a lover, Lukey has a lover.' in teasing voices.

I looked at Ashton, to find he was already looking at me. His face was scrunched up in confusion.

"Luke? Are you okay? You look...ill." Mikey and Calum looked over at his words and immediately stopped singing and dancing.

I held out the papers. "Read the letter."

Ashton took them and began to read out loud.
