"My patience is wearing thin! Answer my questions!" Logan roared.
But Shadow didn't even flinch, "Heh.....you should....just..give up.....I won't answer any of your....... ....fucking!...questions....." Shadow spat, holding back a groan of pain.
Logan groaned and picked up one of the knives. "I am tired of your rebellion. It's really too bad that I can't kill you."
"Yeah, it's really too bad for you, isn't it, Logan."
Logan sighed and then started smirking, "I really didn't want to go to plan B, but you give me no choice."
The tone in his voice made Shadow feel worried, "What.....What's plan B?..."
Logan grabbed one of the cloths and walked over to Shadow.
"What....are you doing?"
"I'm giving myself some peace and quiet to get to work." Logan punched Shadow in the jaw and then quickly put the cloth on his mouth before he had a chance to stop him.
Shadow tried to shout at Logan but thanks to the cloth, it only came out as muffled sounds.
Logan ignored the sounds coming from Shadow and exited through the door, locking it behind him.
Shadow held back a growl which resulted in him letting out a muffled hiss of pain when the pain in his body caught up to him.
He tried to remember how hurt he really was.
Stabbed in the left arm and right leg, cuts and gashes all over his body some deep and some just cutting the skin, some whip marks on his back, surely a broken jaw and some ribs, and his right leg might be broken too.
He tried to stop thinking about the pain but it was hard. His whole body felt like it was on fire.
The fact that he couldn't shout curses and threats to Logan thanks to the cloth just made the whole situation even more unbearable for him.
Location: The destiny's bounty
Kai was not pissed off, not angry, not mad, he was furious.
It had been two days since Shadow was kidnapped, and they hadn't found any lead to where he was.
The elemental masters all stayed on the bounty to be safe in case, for some reason, the man would come after them.
But Kai knew he wouldn't.
The man was after revenge on him and Shadow for winning in the warehouse.
After all, if it hadn't been for Kai and Shadow, the man would have gotten rid of the ninjas and won.
But why he seemed more interested in Shadow than him, Kai didn't know.
He didn't care.
All he cared about was getting Shadow back.
Everyone was asleep, well, everyone except Kai.
He couldn't sleep, not when he knew that his twin brother was out there somewhere in the hands of that maniac.
"This is getting me nowhere. I need to do something."
Getting off the bed and making his way down the hall to the control bridge, Kai kept fiddling with Shadow's necklace.
Kai couldn't explain it, but when he was holding the necklace it felt like he was closer to Shadow somehow.
When he came to the control bridge he took in the dark silent room as if it was his first time being in there.
