A/N Well, since no one came with their opinion on whether or not I should make this season longer or split it up into two, I've decided myself. I will make it longer.

The next day Shadow woke up earlier than usual.

He had a smile plastered on his face the whole morning which was unusual for the edgy ninja.

As he sat by the table, eating his breakfast with a smile on his face, the others stared at him with wide eyes.

Looking up from his cereal, Shadow noticed the confused stares he was receiving from his teammates.

"What are you guys staring at? Is there something on my face?" He asked, confused.

"Yeah, a smile!" Jay exclaimed.

"And?"

"You are usually not very friendly in the mornings, or happy for that matter."

The black-haired male shrugged, "I just had a good night's rest, that's all."

Kai raised an eyebrow, "For some reason, I don't fully believe that. What happened last night while you were out?"

The question caught Shadow slightly off-guard and he almost choked on the spoon of cereal and milk he had just put in his mouth.

But luckily he held back the cough that tried to escape his throat he quickly turned to his brother. "Nothing important." He quickly responded.

"Suuure," Kai said with a teasing tone, which proved he didn't believe him.

Shadow stood up and grabbed his bowl, "Now if you're done with asking me stupid questions, I have to go, I have some things to do today."

He quickly rushed to the kitchen and put away his dishes before rushing to his room to get his jacket and phone.

The other ninjas stared after him with looks of confusion.

Then Lloyd turned to the others, "We're going to follow him, right?"

The other ninjas shared a look before smirking and nodding.

"Yeah, he has something up his sleeve and I want to find out what that 'something' is." The red ninja chuckled playfully.

Shadow's POV

How stupid do the others think I am?

I knew they were going to follow me, but I had expected it to be a bit more challenging to notice them than this.

I could sense every movement from them as they sneaked on the rooftops above me.

Smirking to myself, I figured it was time to shake them off my tail.

Veering into an alley that was currently to my right, I hid in the shadows.

3rd Person POV

All the ninjas scanned over the alley.

"Where did he go?" The master of lightning asked curiously.

Suddenly a voice spoke up behind the group of ninjas, "You guys suck at stalking someone, or at least if that someone is me."

The group of heroes jumped and held back screams of surprise as they turned around and came face to face with the edgy ninja they had been trying to follow.

He had his arms crossed and was tapping with his right foot on the roof while wearing a displeased look on his face, "Why were you following me?"

"You gotta teach me how you do that, man," Cole said, sounding impressed.
