Chapter 9: I'm your girlfriend...Wait, I'm your WHAT?!?

Kiseop’s POV

As soon as the nurse told us that Shin Min could go we walked around the school grounds and we silently enjoyed each other’s company.

The awkwardness was gone and I was mentally slapping myself. It’s been three times since I was mistaken to be her boyfriend. First, the taxi driver; second, Alexander~hyung; and lastly, the school nurse. I mean, why would they think that?! I’m not even showing skinship to her...I’ve never held her hand; I’ve never even kissed her...

Wait...I did...and that was yesterday at the park...

I glanced at Shin Min and she was silently walking beside me, holding her hands and fiddling with it as we strolled.

I looked away and I continued thinking. Yes, I admit, I kissed her. It was just an accident though. I never expected that she was staring at me the whole time. She didn’t even know that I caught the whole incident on my camera...

“Kiseop~oppa,” I panicked as I heard her call my name; I guiltily looked at her as I was diverted from my train of thoughts.

“What is it?”

“Where are we going now?” she asked.

I was hungry. It was almost lunchtime and it was the perfect time since the students were still busy with the festival. “Let’s go to the cafeteria, aren’t you hungry?” I replied.

“Oh, okay,” she said. We walked slowly and I looked at her. She was holding her hands together and she didn’t have anything warm on. She was wearing a plain tee and skinny jeans.

I stopped walking and luckily, she stopped as well.

I removed the scarf around my neck and moved closer to her. I gently wrapped it around her neck and placed it in a comfortable position so she wouldn’t suffocate.

I saw her cheeks redden at my sudden action. I felt the blood in my veins rush to my cheeks as well. “It’s cold,” I simply said.

“But what about you oppa?” she asked.

“I’m alright,” I grinned at her. “Let’s go,” I placed out my hand and gestured for her to take it. At first she was puzzled, but then, she turned pink and grabbed my hand.

I swear my heart skipped a beat when she held my hand.

I knew that we were really looking like boyfriend-girlfriend right now. I didn’t care though; I wanted it to look that way.

Eli’s POV

“Aww, my stomach is grumbling...let’s eat already,” I whined as I put down my copy of our song lyrics. I could almost smell the scent of food from the cafeteria next door.

“Ne, my head is starting to ache as well,” Soohyun hyung agreed.

I looked at Kevin who was practicing a falsetto. I sighed. He didn’t want to stop?!

“That’s enough practice, let’s go grab something for lunch Kevin!” Kibum yelled. With that, Soohyun~hyung and I jumped and happily punched our fists in the air. Yay! ^_^

“But Kibummie~ I want our performance to be flawless this afternoon,” Kevin pouted, making a cute face to bribe Kibum.

“That’s not going to work on me right now; and besides, Alexander, Kiseop and Dongho aren’t here,” he said as he dragged Kevin out of our practice room. We silently followed them, quietly suppressing our happiness...and hunger.

“Gahh~ my brother is excused because he’s spending time with Shin Min~ah,” Kevin finally gave in as Kibum released him, smiling at the thought.
