"honey? are you okay?" i open my eyes to see my mom standing next to my bed.

i sit up, rubbing my eyes, still angry.

"y- yeah i'm fine, just a bad dream." i say, pretty much out of breath.

"you've been asleep since you got home from school, but i heard you yelling and wanted to see if you were okay." she explains, rubbing my shoulder.

i avoid what she last said, "where's grayson?"

she motions her hand down the hall, "in his room, he's been waiting for you to wake up."

"is it okay if we go out tonight? it's important." i beg, standing up from my bed eagerly.

"of course." she nodded her head, so i begin waking out my bedroom door, "just not too late, please!"

"oh we won't." i mutter.

we're going, getting eve, and leaving.

i shove grayson's door open, "get up dude, we're going to a party."

he perks his head up from looking at the video game in front of him, "who's?"

i try to remember who i saw in the dream, and where i was.

"that snobby kid who's the captain of the football team." i roll my eyes, remembering.

"why would we go to-" he starts.

"she's there, grayson." i explain angrily, grabbing his car keys from his nightstand.

a look of shock takes over his face, "with all those-"

i cut in, "guys? yeah, lets go." i gesture my head out the door.

| EVE'S POV |

we pull into the driveway of a large house. flashing lights come from the backyard as music practically fills the neighborhood. the nerves start hitting me now, making me remember last night. i don't want to be at a party that the cops show up at, especially when ethan's not here.

"ready?!" alex's excited voice brings me out of my thoughts.

i nod my head and take a breath. what am
i getting myself into?

we begin walking straight to the backyard, my eyes peering around at the sweaty bodies and filled cups of alcohol. i'm not gonna lie, everyone dancing and having a good time looked pretty fun, but i still had a pit of bad feelings in my stomach.

"thank god you're here!" blair pretty much screams over the loud music as her body makes her way through the crowd.

she's already hammered.

"i want y-you guys to meet some people." she slurs, grabbing alex and i's wrists and dragging us behind her.

i shoot alex a concerned look, but she keeps her eyes forward, completely content with the situation.

we're finally at the center of the madness, while being greeted by a sea of jocks. "hey, eve right?" one with dirty blonde hair asks me with a smile.
