"oh. I uhh don't seem to remember you" I say scratching my head. He laughed and I couldn't help but think what was so funny.
"oh don't worry about that mayleane" he half chuckled. I just hated the way my name slipped out of his mouth.
"Anyway I think I should get going. Nice meeting you." I say and start to walk off. But he grabs my hand and tightens his grip.
"oh leaving so fast? Why don't you come with us For a while." he says rubbing circles on my wrist.
Take his hand away and walk backwards.
"No thank you I have school tomorrow and I don't want a bunch of gangsters to take my beauty sleep away. Bye. " I snap and run back to my house.

The next morning I had a serious headache. I took some pills and went to school.
I was currently wearing ripped jeans, a crop top and converses. I didn't usely daydream in class but when it's boring and there's so much to think about we can't help ourselves. I part of me wished Noah was not at school. Because he kinda opened up to me I didn't want to be the one doing the first step.
I made it clear yesterday that I wanted something serious. I hope he took my note as a advice if he really had feelings for me like I did.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when the door opened violently to see the one and only with a bruised eye and jaw panting like ever. He wasn't there for his three first classes so seeing his state, he had done some serious fighting.
Noah came in and sat down not saying a word.
"uh Noah why are you late don't you think I need to know why ur running late each day?" she said harshly.
" I don't think you tell us why you spend so my much time in the principals office at lunch breaks." Noah says lazily.
"What are you talking about?" she asks nervously. "Don't make me say it out loud." he says then takes his stuff out if his bag. I didn't realise I was staring till Noah looked at me and waved his hand in front of my eyes. I blushed and looked away.
The classes went pass quickly and I was now infont of the school with my friends.
" so what exactly are we doing here"Trisha asks. " we are waiting for Noah to come out of the school so that I can talk to him. "I explain for the 1000 time.
They just went on about everything and anything till we see Mike, Andrew, and Noah come out of the school.
When they walk our way, my heart flutters. Trisha is squealing while destiny is trying to make herself invisible.
" hey" Mike says to all of us but it seemed to be said only to destiny. She instantly steps back and says she needs to go to have some air. Mike looks confused but follows her inside.
Trisha sighs and starts speaking with Andrew and I'm left facing Noah and him scratching his neck.
"uh so um about yesterday I'm sorry for barging in your room And you know what I said that night you know um stays between us right?" he says nervously. I sigh.
"yeah is there anything else you wanted to tell me?" I ask looking for the only thing I've been waiting.
"umm I don't think so honestly." he says quietly.
Ugh idiot. I glare at him thdn turn away. He's such an asshole even after what he told me last night ughhh. I punched the wall. My knuckles were now grazed by the rocky stone but it weirdly made me feel better. I joined Andrew and Trisha.
"mayleane do you need a ride home?" Noah asks innocently.
"No Andrew is riding me. " I say grabbing Andrew arm. Andrew laughed and whispered in my ear :
"trouble in paradise?" I frowned and whispered. "what we have is peace in hell mate" he bursted out laughing Trisha and I walked to his car an couldn't help to notice Noah's clenched jaw and his hands in balls.
I smile and got in Andrew's car waving him goodbye.

What was waited for me home was horrible. As I entered the house, mum and dad were arguing. I didn't pay attention and flew upstairs. But when I realised they were talking about Dani, I sneaked downstairs and listened.
"He is creating problems everywhere he goes. Do you know that. It's to dangerous for all of us. And with fletcher in picture, this is just getting worse." he said yelling.
"Sory but I don't want my daughter in this honey! We need to send her away." she say hesitantly. Was she talking about me?
Of course she is dumbo.
Losing balance, I fall, opening the living room door, and both of their eyes fall on me.
"what the fuck were you doing down here?" he growled I gulped and tried to move back. But he gripped my shoulders. When I tried to move, he tightened his grip and I was screaming in pain.
I could feel his nails digging in to my skin . To blood. All I could was think of all the scars he made on me. I was screaming ofor help and was now looking at my mom who blocking eyes and heading out.
"Mom! No don't leave me with this monster please. NO!" I yelled. She ignored me and continued walking out.
"What did you call me?" my dad asked furiously. "I, I,uh..." I couldn't find words. he let go of my shoulder but lifted his hand.
I squeezed my eyes waiting for my cheek to hurt. But the pain. Never came. Opening my eyes, I saw my dad pinned against the wall by the person I least expected, Noah.

This chapter took me 2 weeks to write. As I said I'm a really lazy person so the inspiration comes even slower than normal. I do have a story plot but I always change some details so yeah. Anyway hope you enjoyed reading this chapter 💕
