My dad stares at me for a couple moments then finally answers.
"let her come in then." he orders and he does so. I'm pushed on the sofa facing my dad and the rest. I realise that there was more men then necessary
"they aren't security men are they?" I ask already knowing the answer.
"no they are. But they are also my gang members." he explains.
"What's happening here?"
"we are discussing our next move." he says.
"what next move?"
"you ask to many questions just listen." the thing is that what they were saying didn't concern me or Noah gang. It was something else.
So I'd didnt care.
But he wanted me to see him saying these bad stuff. Talking about guns and all. But it didn't interest me. I stand up and was about to head out when a "bodyguard" closes the door on me.
"where are you going Mayleane?" my dad asks.
"it's quite boring here I'm gonna go." I answer. He nods too easily. As if he wanted me out. I stroll out and make Noise as if I'm going up the stairs but keep but stay in front of the door.
"anyway let's get back to what we were saying. We need to get into the back of their stock and take every inch of it. We already went through the plan. We need to wait for that lover boy to give us the location and from there we have it all. Understand?" he says in a low voice.
" yes. "they say in unison. I run back up and close gently my bedroom door gently.
I dial Noah's number and wait for him to answer. B it he doesnt. I wait for him to maybe call me back but he doesn't. I choose to send a message telling him about what I heard.
I put my phone inside and go back to my homework.

I open my eyes to find pure darkness. Must have closed my blinds to hard. I stand up form my bed and open them letting the light come in.
The sun wasn't here today, the day was already bad. I check my phone and Noah hadn't answered. It's weird that my dad was too nice to me yesterday. He nearly hit me. And that was rare.
I would have been happy if it wasn't so weird. I take my towel and the clothes I was wearing today. I hop in the shower and wash myself clean. Once I finished I put my clothes on and head out. I come down to find out I was home alone. Lucky me.
I empty the fridge by making my self a big breakfast. I place it on the table and turn on the TV. I put on a episode of Gravity falls. I watch in peace while eating when I hear my phone vibrate. Finally. Noah answered m I open his message:
NOAH: thanks for the information. I have training tonihjt so I think it's today they are planning to do it. I warned Dani don't worry. If you find out more tell me.
I sigh in relief and answer him. I put my phone aside and I hear the door open. It turned out it be my mom.
"hi." I say hesitantly. She smile and answers she had groceries in her hands. She heads to the kitchen and I follow her inside to help her put the in the fridge etc..
"Where's dad?" I ask. I shouldn't even care and spread good time while his absence. But I couldn't help but wonder.
"I don't know. He left yesterday night." she answers vaguely. I nod and carry on taking the groceries out of the bag.
"why didn't you tell me about the gang?"
"because you didn't deserve to know." she says simply.
"can you not be a bitch for one day? We were just getting along." I shout.
"this is why I preferred Mayley." she whispers.
"just when I thought... Nevermind." I. Day before slamming the door and heading back to the living room.. I finish my food and put my shoes on before going for a walk around the neighbourhood.
I wanted to see Noah, so I go knock on his door. He opens straight away and a smile plasters OK his face.
"mayleane." he says sofly. His looks at me before opening th door wider. I enter and remove my shoes.
We head upstairs into his room. He had made a couple changes to his room. It made it look more personal. He goes sit on his desk chair and motions for me to come over. I get the message and sit straddle his lap.
"how have you been?" He asks me.
"Fine I guess." I answer. He plays with my hair and I lean into him.
" I hate waking up with you not by my side." he whispers. I couldn't help but smile.
"I missed you too Noah." I says gently. He sighs
"Then why are you leaving me then? Tell me." he insists. I sigh and look at him in the eyes.
"because it's safer for you. I don't know what he's capable of but I don't want to risk it." I explain slowly stroking his jawline. He nods and just pulls me closer to him.
"My mom started acting all nice to me since yesterday. I had hope. But then it course she ruined that too." I whispers. He rubs my back trying to comfort me.
"I'm so sorry Mayleane."
"it's so not your fault don't apologies." I tell him.
"I'm gonna have to head back soon because my dad might come homw any moment." I warn him and he nods.
"wait. Did you learn more about what your dad's planning or not?" he asks me.
"No if I do I will tell you. And answer quick. You have training tonigt right? Be careful Noah." I tell him worriedly.
He nods and I give him a quick peck before running down the stairs and heading out the door, to my house.
I enter my house and in fact, my dad had arrived.
" hey dad. " I say casually.
"where were you?" he asks.
"I went for a walk." I explain.
"To Noah's house?"
"I ended up there but I went for a walk too."
"Don't do that again. Always warn us." he orders.
"you didn't warn me last night." I remind him. He laughs but doesn't answer me. Since when is he so... So relaxed?
It was obvious he was onto something.
I head back to my room and decide to chill and watch some animes.

This chapter is kinda of a filler but we need to get ready for what is coming next. Of course the chapter will be in Noah's POV, something I enjoy doing. Y'all should be tired of hearing the weeknd songs on my chapters but that's all I'm listening to these days sorry 😂 hope you enjoyed reading
