"What are you doing?" I laugh at Ashton as he tickles me.
I scream and try to supress my giggles, but he has no mercy. He laughs as I squirm away from him and do a back-flip-somersault-thing over the edge of the couch.
"Leave me alone!" I scold him as he lunges for me again. He does not listen, but seems to think tickling time is over since he just pulled my back down so that I sit again.
"What are you doing, Ash?" I ask him again and smile wider when the nickname for him makes his eyes soften.
His grey eyes are not solid masses when he's looking at me, and that alone is enough to melt my knees. I think.
"I just want to have fun," he teases me.
"Ash, it's my turn for fun...serenade me!" I tease him between laughs.
"I honestly hope that you did not take that seriously," he sobers.
"Fine," I sigh and slowly get. I start walking towards the door, but halfway I'm stopped.
"Zaili!" Ashton yells from the couch.
"Yeah?" I look at him over my shoulder, a smile spreading quickly across my face.
"Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't forget about me!" he sinys the Breakfast Club's finale song. Pitch Perfect always influences for the better.
"Oi!" I laugh and sat back next to him. He smiles and puts his arm around me. My stomach dropped.
Ashton rests his forehead against mine and then slowly, very slowly, licked me. I had no idea why he had to tease me like this.
"Gross!" I yell and use his arm as a tissue. Ugh, the immaturity of the male gender.
"Why?" I demand and smack his arm. "Why would you do that?"
"I am special!"
"Of course you are," I roll my eyes at him.
"Ouch. You hurt me... but I can forgive you," Ashton says slowly before pulling me into a hug.
He smells nice.
'Remember to Google if it is possible to be more attractive when you smell nice,' I make a mental note.
"Are you hungry?" Ashton says as I snuggle in closer to him.
"No, but I assume you are?" I smile into his neck, purposely letting my lips slightly brush his neck as I spoke, giving him goosebumps.
"Just being a gentleman," he sighs.
I love this. I love how I can just relax and feel content with life. I don't expect more. I expect just this.
"Do you want to watch a different movie? I guess Scooby-doo isn't really proper, is it? I only watch it when I'm alone, usually," Ashton talks quietly into my ear.
"No, I do that too. I love how Scooby never changes, even when I do. It's like something I can hold on to when I feel like I'm losing the me I want to be. Plus he is one handsome dog," I say.
"Okay," Ashton smiles and adjust our positions so that I am being spooned be him. I would fall if he wasn't holding me against him.
And he made sure not to let go.
