Im so sorry its bn so long since I last wrote.

It's a Saturday and Jimin's starting his day off with a trip to the grocery store to buy some things.

His boss Yoongi was displeased with what happened but they couldn't charge him anything because the computer really did just explode. So he was let off with a warning.

Jimin was still disgruntled about the whole thing but figured it was safer than any worse punishment.

Honestly he didn't know how to stop these weird occurrences but he had nodded anyway.

"Let's see..." he mumbles to himself, walking through an aisle with a wandering gaze. He was searching for peanut butter spread because it's been long since he's had some.

"Aha!" he whispers triumphantly, standing on his toes to reach higher. Curse his stupid height and the person that thought it was a great idea to stack the spreads on the highest shelf.

Luckily he reached it, and when he turns he nearly smashes the jar on the idiot who decided to surprise him.

"Yahh you wanna give me a heart attack?"

Taehyung just stands there with a cheeky grin, lips all formed in a box while his teeth are displayed pearly white.

Honestly the sight is blinding.

So Jimin has no other response but to whack his shoulder again before walking around him to set the peanut butter spread in his cart.

Suddenly he lost interest in preparing a sandwich.

His old friend follows behind him, shiny black shoes clicking on the floor as he watches the shorter's back.

"Honestly you always appear out of nowhere," Jimin comments as he continues pushing the cart.

A curious hum is his reply.

"Don't you like it?"

"Not if you're going about it the wrong way," he answers warily. He points to the spread safely sitting on the basket. "I almost broke the spread on your head Taehyung. That is a freaky sight I tell you." He shivers at the thought. "Don't ever do that again okay?"

He's met with a giggle, and a "I'm not sure if I can do that."

Jimin huffs as he reaches for a carton of chocolate milk.

"Whatever. Just don't go charging me when your head bleeds."

"Yahh you don't know it but I'm a tough nut to crack."

He proves this by knocking on his head twice, eyes trained on Jimin's figure as they walk.

"Uh-huh I get that."

As the pair continue to roam Jimin then thinks of something.

"Hey don't you have work today?"

Taehyung's confused.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Jimin looks back to meet his eyes and say "The kids. You're a pediatrician right? What's happening?"

"Oh well I've been given a day-off so I'm free."

The shorter one's lips curve downward.

"That's weird; a doctor should be busy, not getting a lot of day-offs. Not that I'm opposed to an idea of rest but it's just weird if you keep on taking time off just to see me." He stops the cart to fully face him. "I'm flattered at the attention but I don't want to be the reason why you're skipping work and missing payday you know?"

Taehyung's eyes gaze deep into Jimin's, searching for something unreal to prove to himself that Jimin's not genuinely serious or sincere. Unfortunately Park Jimin has a heart of gold, and he's the realest person Taehyung's ever had the pleasure of knowing, so there's no hidden malice.

Gosh, why was he assigned for this mission?

"So you want me to leave?" Taehyung clarifies.

Jimin's eyes pop and he hastily denies with "No no that's not what I meant at all!" He fumbles for more words before almost shouting "I do like your company. I just don't want to be a burden to you."

Jimin looks again into Taehyung's eyes, and he's scared and crestfallen at the blank and dark look that the taller gives him.

Without a word, Taehyung spins on his heel to leave, hands buried deep inside his coat pockets.

Jimin can do nothing but watch, heart hurting and head spinning with everything that happened at a fast pace.

Someone tell him what just happened.

Stupid mouth.
