It was funny, Jimin mused, how everything started from just a cup of coffee, escalating to matters such as this.

It was funny, he thinks, that his trust was misplaced the whole time yet not even once was he let down by Kim Taehyung.

Oh sure- he kept a lie, a big one at that, but he never did anything that was potentially close to killing him. Yes, there were multiple attempts, but all could be prevented with the right measures.

And it was funny to think that even after all this, he was able to meet five extraordinary people that differed so much yet blended together so well it was amazing.

"I said pass the salt!"

"And I said pass the macaroni!"

Jungkook and Seokjin glared daggers at each other before begrudgingly passing each other the desired items.

"And he was like this, and I beat him up, and I was like this!" Hoseok was telling Namjoon animatedly, who had dyed his hair a purple that suited him very well.

The two had become friends right after they realized they were the same age. It was quite cute, and the pair's interactions were always something to look forward to every time they got together as seven. Hoseok was bright and bubbling with life, Namjoon the cool one who listened with a smile even if the other was rambling. It was quite a pair, and Jimin had looked forward to seeing them talk and have fun with the rest.

Yoongi was currently passed out on the couch, a pillow squashed to his chest. His hair, which was a mint-green, splayed out on the couch making a halo as he snored away.

The eldest and youngest of the group always bickered back and forth, squabbling about the tiniest of problems and making mountains out of it.

Even if Seokjin was the boss of one of the most elite secret organizations, he had the aura of a calm and hyper man, which was a great cover. No one would suspect him of anything, and that was a good thing on his part.

Jungkook was all pouty and moody, still stuck between adolescence and adulthood, not knowing whether to stay in his comfort zone or move out in a whole new stage. He was still trying to get used to all these new people, inside the group but still feeling like an outsider of some sorts. He's gotten used to the faces, but there's still time to learn these new personalities. He was weirded out when Taehyung had shoved three pieces of donuts in his mouth, and everyone just laughed it off. He wasn't used to that. Hoseok had even spoken to a stranger about his hair color, and Seokjin chatted with someone about his Hawaiian shirt, and Jungkook had facepalmed when he saw that scene unfold.

In other words, he's still not used to them, and it requires major interactions to even get to the same level as him and Yoongi.

Jimin was cut off his musings when he feels a hand brush his, and he turns to see Taehyung smiling up at him with this fond smile that serves to make Jimin's heart melt. Why does he look at him with so much love like that?

"What's bothering you?" he asks softly, leaning in to nuzzle his neck and plant a quick kiss to the skin.

The action makes Jimin's brain short-circuit a bit before kicking his mind to action again, only able to grasp his shoulder with Taehyung's bigger figure looming over him.

"C- can we talk somewhere private?" he breathes out, already falling to Taehyung's spell even as he continued attacking his sensitive spots.
