After Jin and Taehyung come through and check all the sets for the first photo shoot with Yoongi, Jungkook decides to wrap things up since it's going on 11pm.

He labels the last of the garment bags and cleans up for the night.

He goes to Jin's office to say goodnight as usual before heading down to find Taehyung in his usual spot.

    "You should stop smoking." He says as he approaches the model.

Taehyung chuckles blowing out the smoke. "Yeah, I heard it kills."

    "It does." Jungkook nods leaning next to the other.

The model nods taking another drag from the cigarette. "I'll try one of these days, to quit I mean."

    "Can I try?" The younger asks turning to Taehyung who raises an eyebrow at him.

    "Why all of a sudden?" He asks.

Jungkook shrugs. "Y-Yugyeom hated it so I never tried it, and I want to now."

Taehyung nods placing his cigarette in his mouth and reaching for the pack.

Jungkook watches as he pulls out a fresh cigarette and hands it to him. "Thank you."

The silverette chuckles. "Put it in your mouth."

He does as he's told and Taehyung pulls his lighter out and carefully lights the cigarette.

    "There you go. All set." He says placing the cigarettes and lighter back in his pocket.

Jungkook tries taking a drag like Taehyung does and ends up choking on the smoke the first time.

Taehyung laughs a little, smoke falling from his lips as he watches Jungkook.

    "Don't laugh, help!" The younger pouts as he tries to clear him throat.

    "Don't try to inhale yet, just pull slightly." Taehyung instructs. "I've never given smoking lessons so I don't really know how to explain it."

Jungkook nods before trying again, instead of trying to take a deep breath he just blows the smoke out.

Taehyung smiles a little as he watches Jungkook watch the smoke disappear into the night.

The younger turns to him hand over the cigarette. "I don't like it, you should quit."

The model laughs, actually laughs. It makes Jungkook fall silent just to listen to the rare sound.

    "What?" Taehyung asks as Jungkook stares at him.

    "Nothing, you're just~ I really like your laugh." He says, looking away as he blushes at his own words.

     "Thanks?" The silverette says as he puts Jungkook's cigarette between his lips and crushes his under his foot.

Jungkook rolls his eyes. "You're a chain smoker."

Taehyung shrugs. "I'll quit one of these days I said."

Jungkook nods and they both fall silent for a moment before he thinks of something that he's been wanting to ask for a while now.

    "Tae?" He starts a bit hesitantly.

    "Hm?" Taehyung answers looking over at him.

    "If I'm not overstepping my boundaries, what happened between you and your last stylist? I know you said you guys broke up, but what's the actual reason?" He asks.

"Well, like I said, my career took off and his didn't. It was just jealousy on his part really. We were just young and trying to mix business with pleasure." Taehyung shrugs. "There's nothing else to it."

Jungkook nods, he knows he's lying, there's so much more to it but if he doesn't want to say he won't make him.

    "Come on, Kook." The silverette says dropping the cigarette and stepping on it. "It's getting late so we should go."

Jungkook nods smiling before following him to his car.

When they get to Taehyung's penthouse and Jungkook goes to get ready for bed first but when he gets back downstairs he finds Taehyung in the living room scrolling through his laptop with a cup of liquor in his hand.

He sighs when he sees he's drinking but doesn't comment on it as he joins him on the couch.

    "Why're you up still?" Taehyung asks sipping his drink.

    "Just wanted to say goodnight, and thank you for letting me stay here." Jungkook says.

The silverette nods. "You don't have to thank me, Kook. I rather you be here than anywhere else."

The younger smiles. "It means a lot to me, really."

    "Don't mention it." Taehyung says shutting his laptop. "We should turn in, yeah?"

Jungkook nods standing up, he watches Taehyung down the rest of his drink and stand as well.

    "Goodnight, Tae." He says as the other grabs the bottle of alcohol.

    "Goodnight." He says back before going up to his room, bottle in hand.

Jungkook goes to the guest room and gets comfortable but he finds it hard to sleep with Taehyung in the next room drinking.

All he can think about is the other hurting himself, he starts to think Taehyung is drinking cause he asked about his ex and now he wishes he would have kept his mouth shut.

He just wanted to know more about Taehyung, he felt they had gotten closer and he wanted their relationship to continue to grow.

After about an hour of tossing and turning he decides to just go check on Taehyung to ease his nerves.

When he gets to his bedroom he doesn't bother knocking and just pushes the already ajar door open.

Jungkook peaks inside and sees the other laying in bed. "Tae?"

Taehyung doesn't answer so Jungkook walks in further and sees the bottle of alcohol now almost empty and lying on the floor.

He picks up the bottle and sits it upright before turning to Taehyung and pulling his blanket from the foot of the bed to cover him.

Jungkook smiles a little as he covers the sleeping model, even in his sleep Taehyung was breathtaking.

After staring for another minute or two Jungkook turns to leave.

He is startled when Taehyung's hand grabs his wrist and the model's eyes flutter open.

Jungkook looks at him wordlessly as he recovers from his shock. "Tae~"

    "Don't go." Taehyung breathes into the silence of the room. "Jungkook, please don't go."

The younger nods placing his hand over Taehyung's and pulling his wrist away. "I won't, I'm here."

Jungkook sits on the bed in front of him, still holding his hand in his.

Taehyung mumbles some more incoherent words as Jungkook strokes his hair before drifting off again.

Jungkook tries to pull his hand away but Taehyung's grip only tightens so he gives up and just lies down next to him.

He ends up falling asleep as well but he doesn't mind that he gets to wake up next to him in the morning.
