The awards ceremony is no shocker to anyone there, including the judges.
Taehyung doesn't take all the categories but he takes so many that at some point in the ceremony they tell him to stop going back to his seat.
The other models clap politely with looks of disappointment when he is announced as Vogues model of the year and rewarded the front cover of next month's issue as well as the money.
The judges all shake his hand and congratulate him as they give him his winnings, he smiles and bows politely to each of them.
"Good job, Taehyung." Jungkook smiles at him as he shakes his hand.
"Thank you." The model responds, a genuine smile blessing his features.
The ceremony ends after they thank all the participants and everyone goes there separate ways.
Each models room is paid for for an extra night so everyone doesn't have to rush off as soon as the retreat is over.
"Congratulations, Taehyung." Namjoon says when he and Jin find the younger.
"Thank you." Taehyung responds as he hands the check over to Jin.
"Are we celebrating tonight?" The older asks waving the check in the air.
Taehyung shakes his head with a small smile. "I'm going to change first."
"Okay, but don't bail on me. We're waiting for you in the lobby." Jin says before pulling Namjoon along with him to find Jungkook.
He finds the younger at the door shaking hands with the models as they leave.
"Jungkook-ah," he calls waving at him.
The younger waves back as he walks over to his hyung. "Taehyung did a great job, hyung. He really deserved to win."
"He always does." The older says. "You remember Namjoon, don't you?"
"Of course I do. How are you, hyung?" Jungkook asks bowing politely.
"I'm good. You look so mature now." Namjoon says with a smile.
Jungkook chuckles. "Thanks I guess."
"You're still coming to celebrate with us right?" Jin asks hopefully.
"Yeah but Jongsuk had an emergency in Seoul and had to catch a flight so he had to leave last night." The younger says.
"Okay, well if you want to walk with us then we'll wait for you in the lobby. Taehyung will be right now." The older offers.
"Okay." Jungkook nods with a smile.
The three of them wait for Taehyung who shows up as promised, dressed in a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt.
His choice of outfit makes Jungkook smile a little, he looked so casual compared to the clothes he just changed out of.
"Ready?" Jin asks when he sees him.
"I guess so." The bluenette says following Jin and Namjoon out.
He ends up walking alongside Jungkook as they head to the pub Jin insisted they go to.
Taehyung didn't feel like drinking or celebrating, especially not with Jungkook.
"Hey," The younger starts, pulling Taehyung from his thoughts. "I thought about what you said, about us not being friends or whatever, and I completely understand you. We don't have to be friends. But could we at least tolerate each other while we're here?"
