Chapter 4: Cold and Stoic
I looked at Lolita's corpse in shock with cerulean-blue diamonds trailing down my pale skin.
The warmth of the heat, capturing my fear as if driving me down to oblivion. I was scared and moving was somehow hard for me.
The darkest of smokes flew up making the air above look like rain clouds, unfortunately they were. The rain started pouring at me as if acknowledging my cries.
It's like the world has turned their backs from me but I was scared to admit that. I've always been a coward and I'm afraid that I'll be alone forever.
No one was there for me. My mother was long gone, my father abused me a lot, not to my liking and siblings weren't an option since, I didn't have one.
I held my umbrella tightly, looking for someone who might be the reason why Lolita died.
But then suddenly a whirl of wind was heard behind me. Pulling me straight to its direction. I was too petrified to move but I had no choice, let fate decide. Accepting it all, I closed my eyes, waiting for my death.
I waited for my death but it didn't seem to kill me. Soon, I looked at the so called whirlwind but was surprised to find a person carrying me bridal-style instead.
He had navy blue eyes which were as dark as the under water bodies, pale sunshine hair which could almost be illusioned as pure white diamonds, skin like silver 7 and lips pale as peach.
He had a stoic and cold expression. His face almost stayed at the same place and his eyes represented true demands.
Then, he looked at me as we jumped from tree to tree. He had that emotionless look on his face but his eyes represented disgust. "Clean that snot off your face. You look like a baby. " he said in monotone.
I was shocked of his first impression, I didn't notice that I was still crying out of fear but his voice somehow pulled me away from my trance. "R-right... S-sorry. " I apologized.
He quirked his eyebrow and shot me a glare. "You're pathetic. I wouldn't be suprised if you'll end up being a fangirl. Who knew that there would be someone weaker?"
I gasped but immediately turned away. "I-I'm sorry, m-mister. " I apologized and he just looked at me in a confused matter and then clicked his tongue.
"Tsk... Pathetic. " he said and then I just looked down in an embarrassed manner.
Eventually, I want to know where we were going and why he took me away from Lolita. I want to be with her and I'm already missing her... Lolita-senpai.
As if reading my mind, he replied in a uniform voice. "Harith? You know him, don't you? " he asked and I nodded.
"He ordered me to get someone named Kagura from that elven's cottage. You'll see that leonin sooner but for now, you'll have to learn to keep your lips shut so you'll never end up dying. " he said but in a more threatening tone. I felt myself shiver that I think he might've noticed it since he looked at me straight in the eye but he managed to look away.
The road there was long but I had to keep quiet so I won't get myself killed. This man doesn't seem to want to be stuck in this kind of mess, nor does he acknowledge my prescence. He despises me.
It was an awkward silence and I wanted to break the tension between us so I asked something out of the stranger. "E-excuse me but... Wh-who are you?"
"Hnnn... " he only responded with a hum. He didn't care to tell me anything so I kept quiet only, before I could ignore the idea, he sighed.
"A lot of girls love me but I reject them. " he said and I gasped... Again.
