[Alucard's POV]

Nine weeks since I was said to have awoken from such a traumatizing event. I'm now here in my room, reading a book in hand, getting ready to sleep.

I still I couldn't believe that I was a part of a foul team, I know that I was a demon hunter before but I couldn't have a memory of my other pasts. I sighed irritatedly, slamming my book shut with force that could've already fucked the paper off its cover.

"Damn this, all the thinking is destroying my brain cells. These people are trolling me, they probably have beaten me up till I could even forgot people, well... Maybe they can't but I'm not buying their excuses." I talked to myself and was about to sleep until someone knocked on my door.

It was soft and really faint... I think I know who it already is.

"Can't you wait?" I monotonely stated, sluggishly making my way to the door.

Twisting the door knob, I opened it and found a little girl on a onesie, carrying her blanket, tears on her eyes and wiping them off.

My heart softened a little as she sprung her arms up at me.

"I-I can't sweep (sleep) again, otou-tan." she said, stuttering and I lifted her up.

"Kagura, it's 'san' and I told you already. I'm not your father." I sighed and she hugged me, her small hands wrapped on my neck.

"Onii-tan!" she guessed.

"It's onii-chan, and no... I'm not your big brother." I stated and she sucked her thumb again while I brought her to my bed after locking the door.

"Okaa-tan?"

She questioned and I cringed at her. Flicking her forehead lightly, she rubbed the small bruise, pouting.

"Hey, I'm not your mom." I responded and she tucked herself next to me while I headed turn the lights off.

*Flick*

The lights turned dim and only the light of the moon could reflect on us. "Th-then awe you my..."

"Hutband?"

I cringed again. "Where did you learn that?"

"E-etmewalda..." she hesitantly answered.

I knew it, she can't keep things to her anymore.

"P-pwease don't b-be angwy... I-it's my fauwt." she said tugging on my top.

I looked down at her teary eyes and sighed.

"Fine but atleast she didn't tell you what it means. You're still too young for it." I said.

"Okay!" she squeaked and slept. She wasn't snoring like most of the people here and I appreciate that. I smiled at her serene look and played with her smooth hair.

Adorable...

Before I could even close my eyes, I heard the same cute voice from earlier.

"W-when I gwow up! I wanna be youw wife, Lulu-chan. I will cook evewything you want and we'll have bab—"

I put my index finger on her lips which made her shut up. She's still little but she knows these things already. Sure she grows up really fast but that doesn't change the fact that she's still small.

"Where did you hear that?"

"K-kimmy. P-pwease don't scowd hew." she pleaded again and I chuckled because of her display.
