[Kagura's POV]

I was in the kitchen, cleaning up some cooking utensils when footsteps came rushing towards me.

"Kagura-chan! Good morning! " I heard a squeal just beneath me as the smile of a little Leonin greeted me early in the morning.

"O-ohayo, Harith-san. " I smiled back, ruffling his hair with him struggling to keep them back in shape.

"Kagura! Don't mess with the hair and what does OHAYO even mean? " he questioned while I stopped giving his hair the same treatment for the past two days every morning.

"I-it means g-good morning H-harith-san. " I said and straightened up, hands behind my back.

"Oh, well ohayo to you again Kagura! " he flashed me a bright smile earning a giggle from the person who laughs lightly over every single little unforgettable things.

"S-same to you kind s-sir. Anyways, w-what do you want for b-breakfast? " he was about to answer but I held him there. "L-let me guess... Pancakes? " I asked and he nodded rapidly.

"Yup! Make it snappy Kagura-chan! I still have to go and check up on Akai! See yah! " he exclaimed as I gave a slight nod and a little wave. He did the same.

"Kags! " I heard someone shout my name. I looked at the voice's direction and saw Kimmy-chan with her splat gun in hand.

"G-good morning Kimmy-chan. " I greeted.

"Mornin' Kags, anyway what's for breakfast today, I'm dying to know since... " her stomach grumbled out of starvation as she held up a sick face. " I'm terribly hungry. "

"Y-your choice. " I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"A'right, my tongue's cravin' for some omelette lately, how bout' that? " she asked leaning on the kitchen counter.

"S-sure and I-I'll tell you as soon a-as it's ready. Y-your tummy is getting a-angry. " I teased and she smiled in embarrassment.

"You're the best kags! I'll be back soon, I have something to do first! " she exclaimed walking out of the house and closing it after.

Soon, I found myself preparing the meal. Chopping onions and pepper, cooking a scrambled egg, melting some cheese and frying some bacon.

My hands were already full and I'm using two pans already. Kimmy-chan's request was my priority the most since she might be dying out there. Wait... Don't be silly Kagura! She's fine.

Soon, I finished cooking hers and walked out of the house to look for her but unfortunately she wasn't there. I gave out a sigh and looked back only to lock eyes with the demon hunter who stood a few feet away from me.

"G-good morning A-alu-sama. " I greeted as he only nodded in acknowledgement.

"If you're looking for her, she just wandered around the woods but won't be lost either way cause I ordered her to leave bread crumbs along the way so she won't doze off track. " he stated, well that's an unusual idea to not get lost.

"O-oh, interesting. " I spoke out, trying to find another topic but first I went back to cooking.

"S-so what will you be h-having t-today? " I asked him earning a hum.

"Tomato soup, again. " he responded bluntly. He might love the dish so much, maybe it's his favorite?

"A-alright then. " I said and covered Kimmy-chan's food with another plate.
