Alex's POV

I wake up and get ready for school. I stand in the mirror and look at my neck seeing the hickeys were finally starting to fade a little. I bit my lip looking at them on the mirror remembering the night. I laughed softly and smiled.

I walked out of the bathroom and grabbed my bag. I headed downstairs and saw my dad drinking his coffee. I kissed him on the cheek and grabbed an apple and sat across from him and went on my phone while eating the apple

Shawn; get your cute ass up and get out. I'm five minutes away.

I rolled my eyes at the notification and got up. "See ya!" I said walking out the house and I see his car and he starts honking and I stick up my middle finger at him. He started laughed and I got in the passenger seat. He leaned over and kissed my cheek. He backed out of the drive way and started driving. He held my hand making me smile a little.

We got to school and he wrapped his arm around me and I wrapped my arm around his waist. I immediately see Brie once we walk in and she gasped and snatched me away from Shawn. "Gee. Thanks!" Shawn called out as she made me walk with her. "So?" She said "so?" I said confused

"Are you guys dating?" She said "are you and Matt dating?" "I asked you first." She said and I rolled my eyes. "He asked me to be his girlfriend. I said no cause he asked me it at the lamest moment." I said and she flicked my forehead "ow!" I said rubbing my forehead. "Are you dumb or are you dumb?" She said "I guess I am dumb. Excuse me for wanting a little more something when asking me to be your girlfriend. Sky did it nice." "Shawn's not sky." She said "I know. Obviously." I said and she rolled her eyes and the warning bell rung and we walked to class.

Lunch

I saw Matt, Brian and Brie at the table but not Shawn.
"Where's the loser?" I said sitting down at the table and they started smiling at me "what?" I said confused. I see Shawn walk in with a bullhorn and a Rose. He stood up on a table. "Oh my god. What is he doing?" I said and he turned on the bullhorn "Attention everybody attention!" He said and everyone got quiet. "I recently had the chance to go on a date with a fantastic women." He started

"Ima whoop his ass." I said standing up. "Alex!" He called out and I sighed. "Will you please do the pleasure of being my girlfriend?" He said holding out the rose. Everyone was looking at me and I felt my anxiety go up. I stood still until Brie gave me a shove. I took a deep breath in and out. "Yes." I said and he smiled and everyone began to clap and I walked up to him and he got off the table and handed me the rose. I grabbed it and wrapped my arms around him. He pecked my lips and pulled me in for a hug. "You're an idiot for that." I laughed softly and he laughed. "You wanted something more." He said and I pulled away from the hug and looked at Brie and she gave me a thumbs up. "I swear ima kill her." I said.

"Don't. She's very helpful actually. You're like a brick wall." He said and I rolled my eyes. We walked to our table and they were all staring at us. Shawn and I both turned red. "Guess there's two couples at this table." Matt said kissing Brie's cheek. "You said you weren't dating." I said looking at her. "Correction, I said I asked you first. I just didn't answer your question." She said and I rolled my eyes. "Three actually." Brian said and we all looked at him and he grabbed Matt's face and pretended to kiss him. "I will hurt you!" Brie said and we all laughed.

After school

Bell rung and I walk out of class and I see sky walk past me. We both made eye contact and kept walking. I see Shawn and I smiled forgetting all about sky. He smiled once he saw me and held out his hand for me to grab and I grabbed it and we walked out and headed to his car. He saw I was still holding the rose he gave me. "You still have it?" He asked "of course." I said "just assumed you would've thrown it away." He said "why?" I asked and he shrugged. I put my hand behind his head and scratched it softly as he was driving me home.
