     "It's been over a week. If he was going to call he would've done it by now." Luke sighs as he locks his phone and slides it into his pocket.

     "He's probably waiting for you to call just like you're waiting for him to call." Arzaylea chimes in as she slides her shoes on. "Swallow your pride and call him."

     "Where are you going?" Luke raises his eyebrows.

     "Home." Arzaylea rolled her eyes. "I've been cooped up in this hotel room with you for more than a week now, listening to you cry about Ashton not talking to you when you're not making any fucking effort to call him. It works both ways." She snaps.

     "Oh." Luke looks down.

     "Call me if you need anything." Arzaylea says. "Better yet, call me when you need a ride to the airport and I'll do it. If you're not going back to your place to fix shit with Ashton you need to go back to Australia because you can't just fucking stay in a hotel forever." She sighs. She presses her lips to Luke, rubbing his cheek gently. "Don't be a dumbass."

     "Yeah." Luke says quietly as Arzaylea walks out the door. "Don't be a dumbass."

     Luke pulls his phone out and sits down on the bed, unlocking it and opening his conversation with Ashton.

ashtonirwin: over a week later?

lukehemmo: i didn't know if you would want to talk to me

ashtonirwin: seriously?

lukehemmo: what?

ashtonirwin: you left and i had no fucking clue where you were or if you were okay

lukehemmo: i know

ashtonirwin: are you even still in the states?

lukehemmo: no

ashtonirwin: of course not
ashtonirwin: you went back to sydney the night you left, didn't you

lukehemmo: yeah

ashtonirwin: wow

lukehemmo: i didn't fucking know where to go
lukehemmo: dont be a dick

ashtonirwin: maybe back home to me?
ashtonirwin: maybe you shouldn't have left in the first place?

lukehemmo: it's not like you wanted me there anyway

ashtonirwin: when you act like this i sure as hell don't want you just moping around the house glaring at me
