astroash: arzaylea literally told me that it probably isn't a good idea to talk to him because of this EXACT reason
astroash: and i did it anyway because i was pissed offcalumhizzle: he's not answering the phone
[calumhizzle is calling...]
"Are you absolutely positive he's not just pissed off?" Calum sighs.
"I don't know." Ashton groans, pacing around his bedroom. "But he's not answering your calls and you weren't even a part of this, so something has to be wrong."
"Alright, I'm going over there." Calum says.
"Thank you." Ashton says quietly.
"I appreciate that you're trying to make sure he's not going to do some dumb shit, Ash, but at some point I'm going to stop fixing your messes with him." Calum walks quickly down the hall to the elevator.
"What?"
"When one of us tells both of you to not talk to each other for your own good, maybe you should listen." Calum snaps.
"I'm sorry." Ashton closes his eyes. "I was just-"
"Yeah, I know. You were pissed off. What were the other 500 reasons you found to continuously drag everything back up?" Calum says sarcastically.
"Calum, I'm s-"
"Stop saying you're sorry and fucking act like it." Calum states. "I'll text you once I know he's good."
"Okay." Ashton sighs.
"Bye." Calum hangs up the phone, leaning his head against the wall of the elevator as he runs his hands down his face. "Fuck." He whispers to himself.
Calum drives to Luke's place in silence, aside from his thoughts jumping around in his head violently. He felt mean, snapping at Ashton; but he knew what he said was true. He almost called Ashton back to apologize as he drove, but changed his mind as he remembered that he had nothing to apologize for. Why should he be the one apologizing when Luke and Ashton were the ones at fault for all of this?
Once he arrives, Calum knocks on Luke's door before waiting for an answer. "Dude, answer the door." He says. "Luke?" He calls out. He knocks on the door with a greater force the second time, to no avail.
