The album slipped from my fingers.

What did this mean?

They told me I hated him, loathed him, so why is there a picture of me with him smiling?

Suddenly my vision went pitch black, my body went numb and I was frozen like a statue.

Blurry images entered my mind, the sound of laughter filled me. I tried to make out the shapes. The room was bright and colourful. It was me and Daniel. The sound of my giggling pierced my ears but I couldn't stop it.

"Don't tell anyone," I whispered into his ear. We were sat on the floor just like in the picture.

"Then when?" He answered back in a husky tone. His breath skimmed past my neck and I shivered in pleasure.

"Soon."

I shot up, breathing heavily. The room spun so fast I thought I was on a rollercoaster ride. What the hell did I just see? Was it a memory? I sat on my bed and let myself sink down onto my back. I stared up at the ceiling in a daze. What did it mean? Now I desperately had to see Daniel. My past self and he had to have some sort of secret that could be the answer to this all.

I couldn't sleep that night. My thoughts were all over the place. I replayed that memory over and over again, scared I'd forget it, hoping it would trigger another. I searched for clues, read between the lines but once again I was left with nothing.

I awoke to the alarm ringing, I grunted as I turned over and hit it. This time Sammy didn't barge in but instead, I heard him go straight into the bathroom. I stretched out and went to pick out my outfit of the day. This time I took more time to think and decide what to wear. It was another warm day so I settled for denim shorts and a light pink floral shirt. To top it off I wore white vans. After a quick shower I got dressed, the makeup was the same as yesterday's, simple and not too much. I kept my hair down because of the bandage. I wondered when I'd have to take it off. I gave myself one last glance in the mirror before heading downstairs.

Sammy was already in the kitchen, I inhaled the smell of pancakes as I walked in and approached my little brother. I patted his head then opened the cupboard up above the wall, I pulled out the jar of Nutella, Sammy was practically drooling for the chocolate spread. He must have a big obsession for chocolate. After our delicious breakfast, we set off. Sammy was skipping in front of me and I loved seeing him so cheerful and energetic. These past 2 days I've barely seen him act like a child. There was a swing set outside for god's sake and I haven't even seen him on it. He's been too focused on me that he hasn't had the time to just...play. I felt so bad. I was responsible for his behaviour. Sammy noticed me frowning, he stopped dead in his tracks and waited for me to catch up.

"What's wrong?" He asked worried, "does your head hurt?" I smiled sweetly down at him and shook my head.

"No Sammy, I'm fine." I pinched his cheek and it got him running off again. He dropped me off in the same spot as yesterday, I waved him off and watched as he disappeared around the corner.

"Lana!" I turned to find Sapphire. She had the biggest smile plastered on her face. She hugged me tightly. How could she have so much energy?

"Ready for another boring day at this dreadful place?" She rolled her eyes and dropped her head back as she huffed. So dramatic. Alice joined soon after in the corridor by our lockers. Mine had been empty when I first opened it yesterday. I listened to the girl's gossip about some slag called Ellen. Just the usual girl stuff. I didn't get involved no matter how hard they tried to include me. For one I didn't know this 'Ellen' and two, I'm not sure if I even wanted to be a nasty bitch.
