Chapter 12

2 weeks later

Author's POV

Two weeks have passed now, Jimin and Jungkook moved in together to a new apartment. They were happy with each other and now they have grown more close.

But the one thing that they were struggling with was the murder case of Choi Youngjae. Choi Yejun was still missing and what surprised them more was the sudden disappearance of Choi Jia.

Jungkook asked his father in a lot of ways about what Youngjae told him about his son but he got the same answere which was 'nothing' each and every time.

"Everytime we go round this case, it comes and stops at Choi Yejun." Jimin looked up as Jungkook said that.

"Do you still think, he is the murderer?" Jimin asked, "I am not sure now, he was missing for a long time even before Choi Youngjae's murder and now Jia is missing too."

"JUNGKOOK!!" A loud cries of a familiar woman's voice broke out in the precinct. Everyone turned around to look who it was.

"Jia!-Oh my God! What happened to you?!" Jungkook said as looked at the poor girl's miserable condition, her elegant and expensive clothes were half torn, tear strained puffy face, most of the body bleeding.

Before she could speak or take a step further she fell on to the ground with a thud.

Two hours later

Jia gained her conciousness. She slightly opened her eyes and saw she was in a hospital, "Miss Jia, are you feeling better now?" Jimin asked.

As she looked at him she burst out into tears, "please save me, please, or else He'll kill me this time."

Jungkook who was there as well interrupted her, "who Jia? Who did this to you?"

"I-I dont know Him, He kidnapped me and tortured me, He even killed Y-yejun a-and my dad." She couldn't stop herself from crying.

"What?...Yejun's dead?" Jia nodded at Jungkook.

"Do you remember were you were?" Jimin asked, "I just remember that I was tied up with a chair in a small room, there were three men but-but their faces w-were covered with masks, when I tried to run away, I got caught and they whipped me and I blacked out, b-by the t-time I-I woke up I was lying on the bench o-of a park."

"Don't worry Jia, whoever He is cannot hurt you again, you are in police protection now." Jungkook assured her.

"J-Jungkook, He..He knows you guys are after him, He said.... He said that He'll kill you. I heard him say it. He wants to kill you. Keep yourself safe.... please." Jia's said with his teary eyes wide.

Jungkook raised his eyebrows and Jimin's eyes widened, and soon after he had a slight smirk in his face, "we need to talk Jiminie." He pulled Jimin out and took him to place where they could talk.

"He did this to warn us, so we stop chasing him. Who ever He might be is the one we are looking for." Jungkook said.

"What if He does something to you Jungkook? You are not risking your life for this case!" Jimin was tensed up and so concerned about his boyfriend.

"Baby, nothing will happen to me, I promise, but we have to do something, a criminal like Him belongs to jail and that's what I am gonna do and the main thing is you are with me, nothing can happen to me when my Jiminie is with me." Jungkook said with a big smile as he cupped Jimin's face and placed a sweet peck on his plump lips.

Jimin hugged Jungkook tightly.

Jimin and Jungkook were on the way back to their home from work.

"Why are you so silent?" Jungkook asked Jimin who was so engrossed in his thoughts that Jungkook's words didnt reach his ears.

"J...i..min! Babe?!" "Huh? What happened Kookie?" "What were you thinking about? Is it the case?" Jimin hesitated a bit as Jungkook said that.

"It's nothing Kookie." Jimin said, his voice fading off at the end, "Your face doesn't say it's nothing." Jungkook said, "Okay...." Jimin sighed, "I am, I'm scared..." His voice was filled with concern and fear, "Scared? For me?" Jungkook asked, "Ofcourse I am scared for you stupid. Why is he after you? We are all chasing after him, then why does he only wants to kill you?" Jimin asked with his brows furrowed, "just because Jia said that, doesn't mean it's true, she is in trauma, maybe she meant something else and even if those words are real, nothing will happen trust me. I'm taking risks from the begging of this career, but I am still perfectly fine." H
Jungkook smiled. "Just trust me okay.."

"I trust you, I do... but what can I do to this feeling inside of me, which is telling me that he is a big threat to you... to us." Jimin said caressing Jungkook's cheek.
