Chapter 33

Author's POV

A week later

At the precinct(9:45 am)

"You are looking so handsome Tae.." Jimin, who was sitting on his desk, said with a cute smile putting his small palms under his chin as soon as he saw Taehyung enter. The latter was wearing a blue suit instead of his regular t-shirt and jacket; with his brunette hair nicely parted, "you think so? It has been a long time since I dressed up in a suit though." He said, "you are looking absolutely perfect. Have a date with Hobi hyung?" Taehyung smiled his famous boxy smile at that question and nodded, "After six whole months of constant work... we finally got to have a day where we can go out for a date." He said.

"Woah.. six whole months?" Jimin asked, "yeah.. we didn't even get to meet properly and i almost got a heart attack when he said we should break up. But.. I'm lucky enough to get another chance from him and today is the day when i can make things right again.. i just hope all goes well.." He sighed a bit, "everything will go well TaeTae and hyung loves you way too much to break up with you... trust me.. i know him very well." Jimin said with another smile which made Taehyung happy, "you know Jiminie?" The latter looked at him with questioning eyes, "your smile is really calming.. I don't feel nervous for the evening anymore... thanks" Taehyung said and Jimin blushed a bit, he becomes really shy when he gets complemented at. "You are welcome."

Time skip (8: 00 pm)

"Are you not done Chim?" Taehyung asked as he was wrapping up, "oh.. no.. i have a bit of work still left. I think... it'll take me half an hour more." Jimin replied while keeping his gaze fixed on his computer monitor, "then.. should i wait?" Taehyung asked again, "no Tae, you go.. you have a date and you'll be late." Jimin said finally looking up at him, "but how will you go? It's late already, then i'm calling a cab-" "-Tae... no need i have brought my car today so just calm down and go.." he said, "okay... um.. I'll be off then... have a safe drive back home Chim." Taehyung smiled, "i will... and you have a great date.." Jimin said returning his smile. Taehyung left almost immediately and he went back to doing his work.

It really took just half an hour more for Jimin to complete his work and finally wrap up. He gave out a sigh of relief and made his way down to the parking lot. On reaching there he unlocked his car and sat inside resting his head on the steering wheel, he was a bit dizzy maybe because he hadn't eaten anything. His back was aching and legs were sore, so it was a bit tough for him drive himself but he didn't want to trouble Taehyung anymore, the latter already have been giving him rides back home often and booking a cab is something which Jimin decides everyday but then forgets, not his fault though, he has been too busy these days. He was just about to start the car when suddenly the car door opened... he didn't even get the chance to see who the person was before he got yanked out by his shoulders.

8: 55 pm

Taehyung sighed as he looked at his wrist watch, it has been half an hour since he was sitting at this fancy restaurant, on their booked seats but Hoseok was still not there. Taehyung knew that he wasn't the kind to be late at any occasion but here he was late at his own date, 'does that mean he is not coming? Does he really want to break it off with him?' Taehyung's head hung low when these thoughts came to his mind. Hoseok was the only one his heart ever fluttered for, he was the only one who was not just for a one time thing and he really didn't want to let him go like this. He likes him, he likes him very much and he'll do anything to get Hoseok back into his life even if it means he has to beg on his knees. Yes, that's how much he likes... or perhaps loves him.

He just can't let the latter go away from him. He put his palm on his forehead as his elbow rested on the white clothed table. He muttered curses at himself for not giving their relationship the time that was needed, for not spending much time with him but... nothing was in his hands, he had to do his job and the case the precinct currently had in hand was indeed a tough one and if he speaks honestly, he was a bit shook by the death of his bestfriend, it left him mentally disturbed and he just wanted to spend some time with just himself;

Taehyung tried calling Hoseok but he won't pick up at all and just like that another half of the hour passed and he grew more impatient. Hoseok not picking up his phone calls took him to the conclusion that the latter doesn't wanna attend the date and maybe doesn't wanna give their relationship another chance too. He felt heartbroken when there was no sign of Hoseok even after an hour of waiting. The waiters came asking him what he would like to order or should they bring the bottle of whine he asked for when he made the reservation and all these angered and hurted Taehyung, leading him to finally leave the restaurant.

He was so happy when he came here but now he was all gloomy, but mainly angry, he was angry over Hoseok for not even letting him know he wasn't coming. He opened his car door and slammed it close once he was settled in and was about to drive away when a ringing on his phone stopped him from continuing his actions. He quickly left the steering wheel and took out his phone from his pocket and saw the ID, he was hoping it was Hoseok and yep it was him indeed.

Taehyung quickly swiped the recieve option, "Hoseok? Where are you? I tried to call you so many times but you wont pick up and-" His voice had a worried tone to it but he stopped speaking when he heard sobs from the other side of the phone, "hey... What's wrong? A-are you okay?" He asked, his voice now completely softening, but he got no answer except for Hoseok's sobs, "what happened baby? Tell me.. please? Tell me were you are, I'll come and get you.. okay?"       "T-Tae... Jiminie.." Hoseok's broken voice answered.

"What..? Jimin? W-what happened to him..? Gosh Hoseok! Where the hell are you just tell me." He almost yelled out on the phone as he was getting impatient, he just wanted to know what the hell was happening. "They took Jiminie... i-i don't know what they are going to do to him.. he needs your help.. i t-tried.. tried to stop them but they..." he sobbed more.

"Where are you?"
