Chapter 26

Author's POV

"Hello hello, brother mine. Long time no see?"

By the voice, Jungkook knew who it was.

"Yejun?" As the name left his mouth it surprised the others.

"Oh yes my dear brother. You are right."

He said with a chuckle.

"I'm impressed you know? You are not as dumb as I thought you would be, actually you are not dumb at all that brain of yours is really sharp. I like it."

Jungkook put his phone on speaker as he was asked to do so by their Captain who was recently informed about the phone call.

"And that pretty partner of yours...ah... he is really something, I would love to have a taste of him-"

"-what. do you. want?" Jungkook asked gritting his teeth, he did not like the way he was talking about Jimin.

"..You to be dead."

Jimin clutched Jungkook's hand when he heard those words.

"You probably would be thinking why, well.. because of destroying my life, do you know how it feels to be called an illegitimate child all your life? How would you know, you had a perfect family with both of your parents and will have another perfect family with your pretty lover."

"You want me, right? Why did you kill your father and sister and why the hell did you kidnap those children then?"

"I killed them for my personal reasons and those kids... are my new business."

"What will you take to leave those kids alone?"

"Mm good question. Well... your pretty and fuckable lover."

"Shut it or I'll break it." Jungkook said with a rage filled voice.

"Ooh, did you get mad? But why? Just because I called your lover fuckable? Well, he really is, you have to admit it. Okay, okay, I've done ENOUGH teasing!" He laughed like a maniac, "you want those kids to be safe right? Then go and save them, they are right at Seoul, I'm at Seoul too you know? Trace my location and get to me and another thing, Seohyun really doesn't know anything about me.." and the line went dead.

"So he is a pervert too huh alongside being a maniac." Jimin said he was furious by the way he talked about him, "What do we do now?" He asked, "find him and get over with this." Jungkook answered, "But we need a proper plan, what if we get killed instead of saving those children?" Taehyung was right they needed a good plan to succeed their mission. "Yes we do need a plan.... gather the whole squad, and the officers team, we'll be having a meeting, now." Captain Choi ordered before he went back to his office to do some important phone calls.

They had their plan ready and they even tracked down the location were Yejun was. They were getting ready for the mission with the bulletproof vests and arms but there was one fear in everyone's heart, what if they fail?

"Jungkook.." Jungkook turned towards Jimin as soon as he heard his voice calling his name, "yeah?" "I don't wanna say it, but.... I'm scared." Jimin said with eyes lowered and his voice deing a bit at the end, "Jiminie, you trust me right?" Jungkook cupped his face and looked him in the eyes, "I do." Jimin answered, "nothing will happen, we'll succeed the mission." He assured. Jimin took Jungkook's hands on his, "promise me... no matter what happens you'll keep yourself safe."

Jungkook smiled, "and you promise me that when something happens-if something happens..." Jungkook corrected himself himself, "you will handle it by being strong and be the Jimin you are? My brave Jiminie?" He said cupping the smaller's cheeks, "why are you saying like this? Nothing will happen." Jimin hugged him tightly but Jungkook's smile faded, it looked like he wanted to say something to the latter.... something very important, but he stopped himself, "I'm just saying Jiminie but you have to promise."

"Okay I promise."

"You both are so cute... I'm looking forward to your wedding." Taehyung said with a smile and when they looked around they saw that everyone was looking at them with big smiles on their faces, "let me guess. You all are looking forward to our wedding?" The smiles widened as Jungkook asked and then all of them burst out in laughter.

"Well... I'm looking forward to it too..." Jungkook whispered in Jimin's ear, and Jimin looked up at him with pink tinged cheeks. "Okay squad, let's go." Said Captain Choi.

"Yes sir!"

"Okay so.. we are going to go according to the plan but if there seems a problem and you people change the plan, don't forget to inform." Jungkook said and Jimin, Namjoon, Taehyung and Jackson listened to him carefully. "Me and Serge will be going through the back and do not move until we signal you kay? Come on Sarge." He stressed on the 'not' and was about to get out of the van when Jimin caught his hand, "stay safe you both." Both Jungkook and Namjoon nodded, "you guys too." And soon they vanished into the darkness.

"Chim you okay?" Jackson asked when he saw Jimin sweating even though it was a cold, and had a distorted face, "no, I feel like I'm going to throw up... again." He said covering his mouth and at once getting out of the van.

Jungkook, Namjoon and a few of the uniformed officers were inside the old factory where Yejun is supposed to be, "Serge I don't think anybody is here-" an officer said when he was cut off by another, "-found them sir, found the kids!" All of them walked towards the direction were they can rescue the kidnapped kids and yes, they did found the kids in a room, who were sitting in the dark tied with chains and trembling in fear.

And right then they heard a gunshot in the distance and they got themselves ready pointing their guns at the entrance. But they didn't see anyone, they turned back to the kids again when all the lights suddenly flickered on, and then they saw that they were surrounded by numerous men in black clothes pointing rifles at them and what was more surprising was that the three officers who entered with them weren't there anymore, "code red" Jungkook said in his transceiver attached to his bulletproof vest before it was was broken.

"Did you hear that? That was a gun shot." Jackson said to Jimin as he looked at the dark old building in front of him and right then, "It's code red guys, we have to go!" Taehyung who was outside talking to the police team, came running towards them once he got Jungkook's signal.

"What?!"
