Chapter 36

Author's POV

Jimin looked at the front door and just when he did it burst open making him flinch a bit.. he was getting himself ready to fight as he thought it was his father's men but..... it wasn't, cause when he looked closely at the figures who were standing at the door his eyes widened at the sight of a particular familiar figure. His lips left out heavy breaths as he stood motionless on the stairway. He blinked twice just to make sure he wasn't hallucinating and.. he wasn't.

He slowly moved down the stairs eyes fixed at the sight infront of him, there was a group of uniformed officer's who were coming in hurridly along with three other figures that were approaching him.. who were extremely familiar, one was Detective Sung Hoon, one was Sergeant Min Yoongi and another..... was Jeon Jungkook. Tears were pooling up in his eyes and soon a drop rolled down his pink tinged cheek but he was quick to rub it off infact he rubbed both his eyes to get a clear view, to make sure that it wasn't a dream.

Seeing his contant gaze of shock Jungkook quickly walked towards him, "Jiminie...." he called as he cupped his cheeks and more tears rolled down the smaller's eyes. Jungkook rubbed them off with his thumbs, "are you okay?" He asked in a whispered tone but didn't get an answer as Jimin's lips were still parted and he was completely in short of words. Yoongi and Hoon knew that there was going to be some outcome from Jimin but they started to get worried when they saw the latter too quiet. "Jimin.. say something.." Yoongi said gathering up his courage and instantly regretted when he saw the change on Jimin's expression.

"You.. are alive.." the smaller said looking at Jungkook dead in the eyes with a straight up cold voice, the older was obviously confused, he thought Jimin would be happy to see him.... happy to know that he was alive but things were taking a different turn now and the Jimin was looking hella scary but he still smiled his bunny smile, "yeah..and i-"

"-you were alive and you didn't find it important to tell me..." Jimin was enraged and that was very clear by the way he spoke, "...Jiminie i can explain why-" ---- "-...why you faked your death and let me grieve and feel guilty for five fucking months..?.." Jungkook was cut off of his words again, "..Jimin-"

"-didn't even give a fuck about how i will feel while you turned my worst fucking nightmare into a reality?"

"Jiminie.. let me speak..-" ---- "-you fucking left me all alone and pregnant and.. and mentally broken which could've cost me the life of my baby... our baby?"

Jungkook knew he made Jimin cry which he never ever wanted but back then the situation he was in could've cost him both the smaller's and their child's life and he wasn't at all ready to take that risk, so he had to fake his own death. He pulled the latter close while cupping his squishy cheeks, "I'm sorry Jiminie..-" he said with such a carefilled voice while looking at Jimin's face so lovingly, he had missed seeing him, "-get the hell out of my sight.. or i may make you dead for real.." was all Jimin said in a voice filled with rage and with a cold stare which gave literal chills to Jungkook. He removed his face from the older's hands and that's when Jungkook realized, Jimin was pissed off more than he was happy.

He was about to move away when, "Jiminie... won't you even let me explain?" He said as he stopped him, "no I don't want to.. why will I? When I know that your fucking work is all what you think about! It's all that matters to you! I do not matter to you! Our son do NOT matter to you!" He yelled while tears still rolling down his eyes, "Did you.... did you think i was joking when I said "I love you" ? When i said, "I can't live without you" ?.... You can explain everything Jungkook..... every FUCKING thing but... that explanation cannot change the damage you did to me.. I could've lost him.. forever.." Jimin said as his eyes burst down into tears as he put a hand upon his small swollen belly.
