Author's POV

Earlier events.

Jungkook looked up to the sky huffing a breath. "What the fuck did we get ourselves into..? What do I do?" Questioning himself he closed his eyes.

"Play along." Jimin said and Jungkook looked at him, "what?" He questioned being a bit confused. Jimin started in a very soft voice, "you already have said yes right? Now pretend, that we were trying to make our relationship work for a month, but it didn't work out, we broke up again but now with the intension of not getting back ever, make them believe that you are willing to marry her on your own not just because of the threat and we can actually kill three birdies with just a single arrow." Jimin chuckled, "wow.. I was panicking for nothing.." he said.

"Yeah.. your father wants you and he knows that he can't reach you when I'm around cause I am waiting for him to come out of his hiding and when it'll look like we are seperated, he will try to reach you just like he did a month ago and he will give us a golden opportunity to catch him, himself.. you are an absolute genius." Jungkook smiled, "i know." Jimin said proudly. "And then when my father is caught you won't be needing to marry her.."

"Jimin?" Jungkook said in a questioning tone, his eyebrows furrowed, "What are you doing here?" He asked and then he looked at Mi-rae who was rubbing off her tears, "What.. happened?" He asked closing the door behind him and moving close to them, "we have a situation here.." Jimin said, "what situation?" He asked, "My Dad abducted her younger sister.." Jimin said, "what? Why?" Jungkook asked looking at her, "I'm sorry.. I am really sorry.." was all she said in her broken voice, "seems like... all this "getting married to you" was actually because Dad kidnapped her sister and was threatening to kill her." Jimin explained.

"So, this was an act from the very begining..?" Jungkook questioned looking at her, "nope, not from the very begining we are talking about the threat you got from the Commissioner yesterday." Jimin answerd instead, "wait.. I don't understand.. why will he-"

"-Well, she has some explanation to do.." Jimin said while looking at Mi-rae who too was looking at him, she lowered her gaze and turned towards Jungkook, "I am sorry.. I was being so stupid at first when I met you and I don't know how Park Sehun got to know that, his men picked me up from outside my house a few days ago... he offered me to work with him in order to seperate you both and I refused.. because I am loyal to my job I cannot defy the authorities and I thought he would leave me alone as he let me go but then... he kidnapped my younger sister on the same day.. he threatened me and Dad that if we didn't convince you in the marriage and seperate the both of you, he'll kill her.." her voice was filled with terror and it faded at the end as she sobbed.

"Does he know that we know this?" Jungkook asked and Jimin shook his head, "no he doesn't and we have a chance to catch him.. we have to make it work." Jungkook nodded, "so let's inform the other's and make a set up.." Jungkook said, "mhm.. we don't have to do anything I already know what to do." Jimin said staring somewhere, his look clearly indicated he was thinking something, "what? What to do?" Jungkook asked and Jimin looked at him, "marry her." He said, "What?" Jungkook asked with a mixed look of confusion and disgust on his face, "No.. I mean, not literally, you both just have to act and the rest of the stuff, I have to explain it to everyone so it's better to discuss inside."

Once inside, the first thing the three did was to gather the people that were working the case with them and then Jimin explained what they had to do and then Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung both went towards the interrogation room.

"Did he open his mouth yet?" Jungkook asked looking from the other side of the glass of the interrogation room where the man sat, "he gave the address but, he says, Park Sehun keeps changing places and there is no way that he hasn't changed his place after knowing one of his men got caught." Taehyung said and Jungkook nodded. "Did you sent the officers to the address?" He asked, "yes I did."
