6 years after the escape

the escaped true directioners have been chirpy with each other lately because of a certain news story that was released last week.

renowned catholic homosexuality reversal camp founder marilee travis found guilty of child abuse, assault, manslaughter, and attempted murder of her son and his boyfriend.

long story short, marilee will be in jail for an extremely long time. i guess if you're a conservative, catholic, abusive, white homophobic woman you have to pay the price for your sins sometime, whether it be in prison or the eternal damnation of hell.

i know you're definitely wondering if everyone stayed together. the answer is that some did and some didn't.

ashley and hayley didn't work out. there were no hard feelings, but hayley fell in love with someone else and they realized they never really "loved" each other. their relationship lasted about four weeks after the escape.

sarah and meagan went through a rough patch about a year into their relationship, but they've been married for two years now, so obviously they worked things out. they adopted a baby girl approximately three months ago and named her jane elizabeth, which is a combination of both sarah and meagan's middle names.

dallon and his boyfriend ryan just broke up about a week ago. ryan left him for some guy named ronnie (or something like that) he'd been seeing for about two weeks before the breakup. surprisingly, dallon took it very well, so i've heard. he hasn't found anyone else yet, but he's so sweet and friendly that i'm sure it won't be long until he does.

lynn and alexa have had a sort of rocky on-and-off relationship for a very long time, but now i think it's on for good. after the camp, alexa became very cautious, irrational, and, not to insult her or anything, a bit problematic. she was just scared that lynn wasn't going to be the same girl she was when she came home. they're happier than ever now and don't have any more camp issues to worry about.

jon and spencer stayed together after the true direction and never had any regrets about staying together. they have a house, a cat, and a marriage to take care of now, though. they got married three years after escaping and have one of the strongest bonds i have ever witnessed.

haha, just kidding. we're engaged and have a husky named comet together.

a majority of our families never really bothered calling us or asking why we weren't at the camp. the only parents who came for their kids were ryan's mom (who his dad is now divorced to) and both of ashley's parents. they actually apologized for sending her to that wretched camp.

allison, my sister, if you don't remember, came to see me at second home after somehow getting the information that i was temporarily living there. i guess i've forgiven her, she was just scared and new to the situation. our parents did drill the anti-homosexual agenda into both of our young brains.

i guess you could say our lives are good, but the memories of that camp will forever be engraved in our brains. please wish our future sanity good luck.
