Authors Note: slightly short chapter, but hopefully, the next chapter will be worth it for you guys! <3

Tyki leads me along by the arm down a bunch of hallways. I slowly start to get confused again looking down the endless halls so I'm glad I have someone who knows their way around. I glance up to see he has a usual poker face plastered on. I wonder what he is thinking about... Hmm... I wish I were back at home where things weren't this complicated. Sure manual labor sucked but at least I didn't have all of humanity resting on my choices. I tune back into reality to see Tyki caught me staring and shot up and eyebrow.

"What do I have something on my face?" He smirks and leans into my face. I get a huge whiff of smoke and cologne and I cough. He looks slightly offended at my coughing as If I hurt him. I pull on his arm to stop our walking and explain through muffled coughs.

"I have asthma which means my airways are finicky and smoke irritates and inflames them. I was staring because I was drifting off into my own thoughts and there isn't anything on your face." I look away slightly flushed as the words poured from my lips, yet I continue, " I have a lot running through my mind at the moment," Including other people, "so I hope I didn't hurt your feelings." Feeling Tyki let go of my arm, I look up to see laughter about to erupt from his chest. Now it was my turn to look offended. "Don't make me take back what I said, pretty boy, I might just say your ugliness caught my attention!" I say while crossing my arms across my chest. I become fully aware that I am still only in a towel. Slowly my face becomes flushed again which only makes the gray man(ohoho) laugh harder.

"Sorry, Sorry I just was joking but seeing you take me so serious was absolutely hilarious!" He tries to quiet his chuckles and finally calms down. He looks over to me with a more gentle expression, "Normally I don't get this silly, but something about you, your innocence possibly, seems to bring that out of me. Now you said something was on your mind?" He starts to pull me along again towards my room. I glance up at him with a slight smile. Can I tell him? He seems so open and trusting...the exact opposite from the Tyki I read about... Don't, we don't know if he is just trying to gather intel, he could be a friend or foe at the moment. Here you are again telling me to do the logical thing. I guess until I talk to you I will just with talk pleasantries with him. Maybe he can answer some of the things that have been bothering me since I first started reading the manga. But, I gotta straighten out the voices in my head first. God, I sound like a Schizophrenic! You aren't. Gee that makes it so much better to have the voice in my head tell me I'm not crazy... I avoid saying anything to Tyki about the voice as I answer him.

"Yeah, I really want to wear something other than a towel, could you perchance bring me something to wear or ask a female who could let me borrow something?" I look up with a slight blush dusting my cheeks. He looks down as if just realizing I'm still in a towel and blushes ever so slightly. He nods his head and answers with a little hastiness in his voice.

"Of course I'm sorry I didn't realize sooner, once I get you to your room I'll go grab something for you." He pulls me a little faster now and we reach a door. " My room is right next to yours" He points to the door to the right of me, "so if you need anything just knock." He gives me a lopsided smile and walks fairly quickly down the hallway and out of sight. I breathe a sigh of relief and walk into my room. I examine upon walking in and find a nicely made queen size bed with white sheets to the right of me along with a closet. To the left is a vanity and a bookshelf filled with books of all shapes and sizes. Lastly in front of me was a bay window with a couple of throw pillows on the seat. All in all, it was a very posh room. I sit on the bed and try to calm my racing thoughts. I lay back and feel the cool sheets on my arms and legs that drift me off into my thoughts. If this wasn't a life or death situation I would be really happy right now staying in this room, in this comfortable bed. Now voice in my head can we have a little chit chat? I have a name you know. Yet you never seem to mention it! My name is Chronea. That's an odd name but has its own ring to it. It was given to me hundreds of thousands of years ago, I don't expect you to understand its meaning. Can you tell me what it means? You said you would explain everything to me. Now I didn't say everything, I will explain some things, but other things must remain a secret until the right time. I will say, I was the reason you were brought here, and you won't be able to leave until we work together. You made me come here! If you brought me here you can take me back! But do you really want to? I hear all the doubts you have child, you can't hide your wills and wants from me. I didn't create that portal to here alone, you wanted to escape, I only granted your wish. Well, have you ever wanted something you shouldn't?! I shouldn't have left; I can want for things all day but it doesn't mean I should get them! I have responsibilities at home that I've left behind! Me being here can also cause a lot of problems for the exorcists as well-  Suddenly a loud knocking on the door broke me out of my thoughts. We will finish talking later. Get some clothes on. Fine...

"_____? It's me Tyki, I brought you some clothes that Lulu Bell said you can borrow until you get something more suited to you!" I force myself up off the bed and tuck in my towel tighter as I walk to the door. I open it to find a slightly out of breath Tyki with a pile of clothes. I chuckle at the sight and thank him for the clothes. He literally ran around getting me all these things... I have to admit, I trust him much more than the other Noah at the moment because he doesn't hate all humans in the manga due to his odd 'interests'.

"You didn't have to run I could have waited a little bit longer," I state with an appreciative smile. He looks at me and grins, bearing his straight, shiny teeth.

"We don't get many normal guests and I get a strange feeling you'll be here for a while, so I might as well consider you one of the family. It's odd, you seem almost familiar." He states with a shrug and then asks, "Hey, once you get changed we can play some cards and you can tell me about where you come from and stuff." He looks at me expecting an answer. That doesn't sound too bad, what could go wrong?
