Chapter 10 - The Reunion

Author's Note: As I said before, this is going to have multiple endings. I'm thinking of having multiple branches. Once I get to a certain point I will branch off into however many people I have decided to make an ending with. The people so far are Tyki, Wisely, Allen, and Lavi. I'm debating Kanda only because of Alma but if I hear people wanting it I will do it. Let me know if there are others!

"Daughter?" I look at the Earl with wide eyes as I mutter out the word. I feel my face completely pale. You didn't tell me he was your father?! I mean...whoops? He is only my adoptive father, but I do consider him my father nonetheless. What do you mean WHOOPS! As I fight with Chronea with my mind the Earl walks over and envelopes me into a hug, I snap out of my head as I feel his arms wrap around my shoulders as he pulls me towards him. I relinquish my body to Chronea so she could hug him back. I'm glad we came back. Me too, but seriously, you need to tell me about these things... "I missed you so much, Adam." I look up to see the Earl chuckle as he leans back from the embrace.

"I knew you would still call me that child even when I persist that you call me dad." He steps out of the hug just as I take over my body again. I hear Chronea sniffling in my head, but she seemed happy on the outside. Something is off... What do you mean? Something is wrong with Adam, let's talk about this later. Alright?

"I do have Chronea within me. Both she and I wish that you would stop this war with humanity and just be a family with her again." I look around at the other Noah to see mostly thoughtful faces. The Earl only chuckles again as he places his hand on my shoulder. 

"You understand darling, the reason we kept fighting so long was because of what they did to you all those years ago, the anger that burned within all the Noah was from losing you. We thought you were gone forever since you hadn't reincarnated. If we lost any one of our family, we wouldn't stop till all the humans were dead for what they did. Why didn't you come back, my dear child?" His hand trails down my arm until he was holding my hand. He kept referring to me as if I was Chronea, it was kind of odd but I let it go. I did notice the stoic and tense faces of some of the Noah at the mention of the war.

"Chronea couldn't come back, she was stuck in my timeline because she had died there and couldn't reincarnate since the Noah gene wasn't present in my timeline. I had some genetic defect that spawned the gene within me in my timeline and that was how she was able to come back." I look up from staring at our hands to see only concern showing in the Earl's eyes. Chronea takes control for a second to quickly squeak out through tears, "Can we be a family again?" He nods and calls everyone in for a group hug. I feel safe and warm with everyone surrounding me, but I agree with Chronea. Something feels, wrong and I think I know why.

"We won't harm humans anymore. Sadly, we still need to get rid of the innocence since The Order will try to kill us, even if we don't have the same goal." He looks apologetically at me but I shake my head to dispel his worrying. I quickly take over to respond as the group hug disperses.

"As long as we don't hurt humans and only the Innocence, I can tolerate that. They won't need Innocence anyway if we aren't going to spawn Akuma anymore. I just wish we could all stop on both sides." I give him a small smile as I wipe the tears Chronea had shed earlier.

"Then it is a deal. We will still download the Akuma Factory since we don't want The Order getting their hands on it as well as the Ark. Chronea, will you go with Tyki and Road to get the Lenalee gal as we believe she holds The Heart?" I nod and walk over to Tyki and Road. Ugh, I'm not Chronea. Just give it some time. They both give me small smiles as I walk over.

"Are you ready to go ____?" Road asks as she summons one of her doors. I give her a wide smile at her for understanding the situation. Tyki and her extend their hands out to me as I walk over. I grab ahold of both and pull them through the door. We walk out the door and arrive at the top of the Tower within the old Ark. The view was quite beautiful overlooking the coastal Greek-style town. White houses lined golden brick walkways leading to the middle where this tall white tower was located. I need to talk to you, it's about the Earl. Sure, as you said, let's wait for a time when we are alone. I am met with silence. "Alright, let's go grab that exorcist!" Road chimes, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"_____, is it still ok to toy with them? I really wanted to fight the Allen boy. " Tyki looks at me with puppy dog eyes and I shake my head disapprovingly.

"Just as long as you don't hurt him. He is a good person Tyki and doesn't deserve the shit he has to put up with." I roll my eyes as I step to the door. Tyki begins to walk with me toward the door. Take me to the edge of the Ark where we summon the exorcists. Alright. "See you at the bottom!" I pick up the pace and walk through the door, leaving Tyki behind. I find myself at the exact place I wanted to be. I stood at the very edge of the town overlooking the endless void just over the cliff. I don't hear anything for a second till Road's door appears and a frantic Tyki comes rushing out.

"Why would you do that when last time you disappeared!" He quickly hugs me as I laugh and hug him back.

"I promise I won't just up and leave again. Chronea and I plan to stay for a long time." I shimmy out of the hug and chuckle at the male's antics. "You are seriously getting so clingy." Tyki gives me an amused grin.

"What can I say? You bring the human out of me. And last time I trusted you, you ran off and we didn't know if you'd come back. So now I won't let go. " He turns away from me with a fake pout and quickly uses the ark to summon a portal. I see Lenalee start to fall through the hole as planned. But after that, 5 more unwanted bodies fall in. I examine the pile and see Allen, Kanda, Lenalee, Krory, Lavi, and Chaoji. I see Lero got the short end of the stick as he was smashed under Lenalee. This was the first time I had seen Lero while being with the Noah and the little pumpkin umbrella brought a smile to my face. Tyki quickly pulls me behind a building and puts a finger to my lips. What the fresh hell.

"shhhh. I think the Earl is planning a big old welcome to the Ark so we will go see them in a second." Tyki gives me a wink as he was still fairly close to me and I push him off. He slightly looks disappointed but I am quickly drawn to the voices of the others faintly and lean out to watch the exorcists interact with Lero. What looks to be a balloon version of the Earl comes out of Lero and begins talking to them. I can't make out what The Earl is saying since his back is turned to me so I give up trying to listen. The balloon Earl begins to float away and the exorcists begin to destroy every building they come across. I liked these buildings, I thought this place looked nice. It's such a shame knowing it's going to get demolished. Luckily when Allen takes control all this comes back so I shouldn't be too sad. I look to my right and see Tyki has disappeared. I glance back at the Exorcists and see Tyki in his light form behind Allen holding Road's key next to Allen's face. Oh no here we go. Tyki approaches them and they all look quite confused to see the Vagabond on the crumbling Ark. I chuckle slightly and try to get closer to hear the conversation. I wonder how this conversation changes since Tyki isn't aiming to kill anymore?
