Authors Note: Wow, two in two days. I felt inspired today so I hope you guys enjoy it. Let me know if there is anything I should change or any endings I should include. :D

I Relocated my tiresome thoughts to the back of my mind, for the time being, and chose instead to focus on the group of cheerful Exorcists in front of me. All were happily talking about their relief in getting to keep their innocence. I watch as Allen gives me a sidelong glance before halting the conversation.

"Enough about the Noah, let's get going before this place comes crumbling down on us." With that being said, Allen swiftly turns and starts walking towards Road's door. I started walking forward along with Lenalee and Lavi until Kanda spoke up.

"Wait, what are we going to do with her? We might be fine with her around, but the higher-ups in the Order won't be so inviting. We can't just take her back with us." I stop and turn around before silently nodding in agreement. I didn't think about that, the Order is going to want me dead or want to imprison me just because of Chronea. I look over towards Allen, Lenalee, and Lavi to see what they had in mind. Lavi was the first to speak up.

"The Order doesn't know about Chronea, only me and the panda knew about her, but we thought she was permanently gone, so it never made much sense to tell them. As long as ____ is in her human form, she should have no problems. The gate only looks for akuma anyway." Everyone seemed to agree, but something was bothering me.

"As good as that sounds, you normally don't just bring anyone back to headquarters, having some random girl tag along wouldn't make much sense." Lavi nods before speaking again.

"Yes, which is why we will say that you are with the panda and me. You are just some rookie we are looking at to potentially make into a Bookman." Hmmm... That would work except for...

"Isn't the Bookman based on bloodlines? If I'm not related to you, then I couldn't possibly be in training."

"For the most part, yes, but outsiders who are deemed worthy can also be made into Bookman. We will say that you are a special case."

"Could you actually make me into a Bookman?!" Stars appear in my eyes as I stare down the Bookman. Curiosity filling my being and hope in my eyes. Lavi turns his head with a slight blush dusting his cheeks.

"I mean... theoretically yes, but it takes a lot of training-" I eagerly shout over Lavi.

"YES, even if I don't become a Bookman, can you still teach me things?" I excitedly bound over to Lavi, grasping his hands within my own. More blush forms on his cheeks as he tries to stutter out some sort of sentence, but can only manage a few words.

"Ah-h-h, I mean, yes, I-I can if you w-want." Only after hearing his stuttering do I fully understand that my enthusiasm and the encroachment of his personal space was making him uncomfortable.

"Ah, sorry, I just really love to learn." I scratch my head before plastering on a bashful grin. Lavi seemed to calm down once I let go of his hands. Meanwhile, most of the group observed this with very different reactions. Kanda looks as stoic as usual, yet a hint of envy could be seen in his eyes if you looked carefully. Allen seemed genuinely pleased that everyone was getting along. Lenalee was watching with almost as much curiosity as you had earlier. Krory seems like he was blushing as much as Lavi, for what reason was still unclear. Lastly, Chaoji stood with a very determined look on his face, probably wanting to get back to what was left of his crewmates. "Let's get going; we don't want to worry the others more needlessly!" I grab Lenalee's hand, knowing Komui was probably worried sick. Walking over to Road's door, I will for it to directly take us to the city just outside of the Asian branch of the Order. I leave the door open to allow the others to walk through before shutting the door. They quickly understand where we are instead of on the previous battlefield. Lenalee's head snaps towards my directing before blurting out.

"What about everyone? They are all still at the battlefield, right?" I shake my head before responding.

"We were in the Ark for a good couple of hours, the rest who were left went back home as the Noah stopped their attack as well as the akuma. They should be arriving in a couple of hours back to this base to search for you guys, but now that we are here, we can contact them more quickly using the radio inside and let them know you are fine." I give a small smile as this seemed to ease most of the exorcists. We all start to walk before Allen notices that Choaji hasn't moved.

"Chaoji, aren't you coming?" Chaoji stares down at his feet for a moment before looking up.

"I'm not an exorcist; I don't need to go to the Order. On top of that, some of my crewmates are still alive, and I want to get everyone together for Anita to do what she would have wanted to do." He lets out a tired breath that seems to indicate that he's been holding this information in for a while.

"Do what you need to do." Kanda mutters before continuing to walk towards the Order.

"Good luck Chaoji! Don't hesitate to visit us!" Lenalee gives him a quick hug before hurrying to catch up with Kanda.

"As Lenalee said, good luck, and I hope you achieve what you are trying to accomplish." Krory bows his head repeatedly before running off as well, leaving just Allen, Chaoji, and myself.

"I know we got off on the wrong foot, but I truly hope you'll come see us again." I attempt the best smile I can muster while the feeling of exhaustion settles over me. Chaoji merely nods at both of us before turning and walking away while waving.

Well, this is different. I do hope that Chaoji still receives his innocence, maybe then he can come to visit us. I look up towards the night sky as I look forward to the new adventures await the exorcists and me.
