~Time skip about halfway into the game~

We had both asked each other relatively easy questions for multiple rounds now, but I had a burning question that needed to be answered. I looked at my cards and furrowed my brow. How am I going to ask this? I don't want to have this be a problem if I ask him. "Do you have any 4's?" I say while peeking at him from behind my cards, a nervous look present on my face. Tyki quickly pulls out a card and flicks it over to me.

"Alright, you look pretty concerned right now so better get that question out before your head explodes." He states with a chuckle as I pick up the card and make a pair. Here goes nothing.

"I guess this question is directed at both you and your Noah; why do you personally want to see humanity end?" He blinks a few times before sighing. He scratches his head as if delaying an answer.

"Would it be bad to say I didn't? I mean as Tyki, I have my human friends that I do care about, and humanity is one of the things that makes life so interesting. As for my Noah, I don't know, all I have to go on are very cloudy memories." Looking down, Tyki's stare begins to bore a hole through the table. "When I see a human evoke fear, the Noah reacts in a flood of bloodlust that isn't my own. I mean, if I don't know the person I could care less about whether they live or die. It's just for the few I care about that make me push back against the Noah side of me." He glances over at the cards in his hand briefly as he continued, "I wonder what it would be like to never have had a Noah memory. I say it's interesting to have a dark and light side, but it would be nice to be able to enjoy humanity without my memory wanting it destroyed. Another odd thing about you, I am not feeling any rage from my Noah with you. Nothing at all. I was expecting it to since you are human." He slumps over while saying this has his head resting on his hands looking wistfully defeated while talking but as he neared the end he perked up and looked me in the eyes.  Wow, I mean I expected it, but it is another to hear it. And what does he mean he isn't feeling rage? Maybe it has something to do with Chronea. Probably... What is it? Later ____. Ugh, I'll figure it out eventually so why can't you tell me now. The Noah can't find out and they can read you like a book. Not true! I'd rather not argue, so just trust me. Alright, I will. I look at Tyki as see he is starting to sit up again.

"Sorry if that was hard to talk about, but I'm glad I could confirm my own suspicions that there is someone good in there. I'm glad your Noah can be at peace with me here." I place my hand on his shoulder and give him a sympathetic smile. He returns the smile and sits up.

"Alright since you wanted to hit me with a hard question you better watch out." He quickly gets himself composed and ready to play again. I chuckle a little and also get ready. "Do you have any 8's?" I grumble a little as I pull out an 8 and slide it over to him. He gives me an amused look and sets down a pair. "Now my tough question, tell me about my future. Anything you think would be important to tell me." He looks over at me with a serious expression as I freeze up. Oh God what do I say, should I tell him about Allen, No I can't involve anyone else in his answer. I'll have to be vague. My eyes dart around me as the words tumble from my mouth,

"I'm going to be as honest as I can with you without messing with the future too much. Soon, you are going to be wounded very badly by innocence which will release your inner Noah. As much as I don't want to change your future, I don't want to see Joyd released and to have your soul possibly pushed out of the way. After this happens you..." I can't say any more. He looks at me waiting for me to finish. "I shouldn't say anything too specific; I will say that you will be in pain after this fight takes place and will have scars that ache. I don't know if this is true, but after this fight, I never see you with your friends after this fight and it seems as if you moved on from your light side." I finish my thought and look up at him. He sets down the cards in his hands to look at me. His eyes soften and look almost remorseful. Why is he staring at me like that?  "Are you ok?" I ask him hoping to break his trance-like state.

"Thanks for being honest. I won't tell the Millenium Earl what you told me, but I will be cautious. I want to see them again ____. " His look turns mournful; it was like he had already lost them, as he gazes down at the table. Oh no...

"Hey, come on, with me here I will remind you. I'll make sure that whatever happens, I'll make you take me to see them ok?" I put my hand on his shoulder again and give him another smile. He looks up, and he smiles slightly. "Hey Tyki? Since you are like a god at poker can you teach me while I am here?" I ask him hoping for a response. His smile brightens a little, and he sits up.

"For you? Of course, I can." He picks up his cards and begins to show me how to play; hopefully, he won't figure out I know how to already. If I can put his Noah at ease, maybe that calming ability will help with the scars later on.
