Ursulla and Morgana are King Triton's sisters. Ursulla had darkness in her soul because of her mother. She was the favorite daughter. Only Triton and Ursulla had magic over the sea. Triton had to banished Ursulla because of what she tried to do. While she was banished she met these eels, Flotsam and Jetsam and teamed up to plan revenge on her brother for banishing her. She had made so many deals by other merpeople but they couldn''t keep their end of it so she turned them into polyps for her garden.
Morgana felt she has nothing. Their mother made Morgana feel like she is nothing from the moment she was born. Throughout her life she wanted to prove herself. She felt like she need to impress her mother.
