To avoid confusion: if you see the names ox and Alex, it's Alex oxlade chamberlain. I'm saying this because I wrote both ox and Alex in this chapter. So Don't get confused, it's one person.
Sunday night
7:15 pm
I had just finished applying the last details of makeup on my face when I heard a knock on the bedroom door, which was then followed by Roberto coming inside with a smile on his face. It was the day of Perrie's birthday party and to say that I was excited was an understatement. I basically couldn't wait to see Perrie and her reaction after I pull off my surprise.
"wow! You look amazing, lil sis!" said Roberto as he took a seat next to me on the bed, making me smile widely at his sweet words.
"thanks rob! You look great as well" I replied, complimenting his shiny navy blue suit.
"are you ready to go?" he asked.
"yeah, c'mon" I replied and quickly grabbed my purse before hurrying out of the house With Roberto so we could get there on time. It was already 7:15 and the party starts at 8, I was supposed to get there ahead of everyone so I could hide somewhere while Perrie gets distracted by Roberto and Alex, so we had to do everything possible to make it there on time.

In the next ten minutes, rob and I arrived at the party location, which was the last floor of a tall building, and thankfully, we were the first Guests to get there so I didn't have to worry about being seen or the surprise being ruined. That would literally be the worst moment of my life to be honest, although I wasn't really good with surprises, I had to make sure this one goes perfectly as planned.
And as much as I was excited about the party, I was also pretty nervous. I know that I was only there for Perrie's sake, but I still don't know how to react after seeing Trent. The best thing for me to do if that happens is to ignore him, but that is a difficult option because I just feel the temptation of getting a glance at him, I wanted to see how he changed through the time. Not a very Good idea, I know, but I couldn't help myself. My only mistake was loving him so hard and now I'm paying for it. I should've known that he would never change.
After checking in with the security guest list, Roberto and I headed into the gloriously decorated hall, where ox was already waiting for us as he spoke to a 2 men who were in charge of the decorations, as soon as he felt our presence, he immediately walked over to us, as fast as he could.
"oh thank goodness! Had it been you guys added a minute out there, the surprise would've been ruined" Alex said and let out a sigh of relief afterwards.
"sorry! We stopped to get some gifts on the way" Roberto responded and I nodded in agreement.
"it's fine, what matters is you guys are here now" ox said and flashed us a smile.
"I can't wait to see how Perrie will react when she sees you" rob said, getting excited.
"me too! She'll probably scream, cry, yell at me and then squeeze the life out of me to be honest. It's gonna be hilarious!" I replied and chuckled along with the guys.
