Trent's POV
Continues from last chapter
(PS some of you guys will love the ending)

After about twenty minutes of arguing and lying to the security guard of Selena's house, the man finally let me in. He actually thought I was some kinda burglar or something of that sort so I had to lie about being Selena's best friend for him to let me go in. But I don't blame him though, he was a new guy, he has never seen me before and his job was basically to protect the William mansion, so he was just doing what he was supposed to do.

Anyways, I jumped out of my rental car immediately and made my way towards the front door. I was pretty much nervous about seeing Selena that day, I didn't know what her reaction was gonna be but I knew for sure that it wasn't gonna be good! I knew she wouldn't want to spend a single minute with me, but I wasn't gonna have any of that, I was determined to prove my own stubbornness to her until she finally gives in to my demand.

After about two minutes, the door was finally pulled open, revealing Selena standing there with a smile on her face, but as soon as she laid eyes on me, that smile slowly disappeared as she Tried to slam the door right at my face, but Of course, I was quick enough to push myself in between and stop her from closing the door.

"Please let me in! Just gimme a minute!" I pleaded with her, while she just stared at me with raised eyebrows.

"What is wrong with you? I thought I clearly told you to leave me alone! Why do you always follow me around and try to make my life a living hell?" She responded with nothing but anger and frustration as I followed her all the way to the lounge room.

Okay, this is definitely going to be harder than I thought!

"I'm sorry, I just-" I started, but she was quick to cut me off, right in the middle of my sentence.

"What do you want?" She Asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I want some time with you! I wanna talk to you!"! I replied, stating the obvious.

"Well, I don't want to talk to you, so please, get out of here!" She responded, being as cold as ever as she pointed towards the door.

"Cmon sel! Just 5 minutes, i promise it will be worth it" I insisted, trying my best to convince her "and besides, there's no body but you in this house, do you really want to stay alone?" I added, making her sigh in defeat.

"I'd rather stay alone than hang out with you!" She snapped right back at me.

"You know, lying isn't a good habit!" I said, jokingly as I shook my head "everyone knows you're bored To death, sitting alone in this house" I added with a smirk on my face as I knew things were about to turn my way in just a couple of seconds.

"What's your point?" She raised an eyebrow.

"My point is; you need someone to hang out with, you need someone to talk to, and that's the same case with me, so why don't we help each other out? Why don't we take a walk through the beach and talk about life?" I replied, being as convincing as I possibly could be, and if I wasn't wrong, I could see the effects starting to work out.

"That would be okay, I guess!" She finally gave in, stiffly, making me smile widely.

"But only because I don't have anybody else to hang out with at the moment! Don't think of it as whatever your stupid brain is interpreting it to be!" She snapped again, right before she grabbed her jacket from the couch and started making her way to the door, while I just stood there, looking at miss attitude in nothing but surprise!

"What? Aren't you coming?" She Asked, frustration clear in her voice, making me jump out of my thoughts before I giddily followed her behind as we walked out of the door and house in general.
