It was Monday morning. 5:20 am to be exact. I spent the weekend trying to find some appropriate clothes that I could actually afford with my budget, which consisted of basically nothing. Luckily I found some cheap items that looked really classy though. At least a small ray of hope in all of this. I also spent most of my time stressing over how all of this would turn out. I was really worried, whether I was gonna be able to live up to Mr. Greenfield's expectations.
Right now I was rolling out of bed and then quickly took a shower, washing my hair as well. When I was done, I dried my hair before styling it a little and then did my make up, putting some extra effort into it today. I just felt like I couldn't afford any mistakes or flaws when it comes to this job and especially Mr. Greenfield.

I then got dressed into my new grey shirt and pencil skirt, putting my heels on as well. I already knew that my feet were gonna kill me tonight.

When i had checked my appearance in the mirror for about the tenth time, i didn't have any time left for breakfast so I made my way out of the flat and to the busstop. People on the bus were kinda staring at me, since I was dressed quite elegantly for someone who is taking the bus.
When i arrived at the office building it was 7:28. I made my way inside quickly and up to the top floor. "Mr. Greenfield is waiting for you in his office" Mrs. Tilton told me and I nodded as I quickly knocked at his door. "Come in" the same deep voice called and I made my way inside. "Good morning Mr. Gree-" I said but was interrupted by him. "It's 7:32. You're late" he said bluntly, checking his watch. "I..yeah sir. I am so sorry. I live quite far away and I had to take the bus and I guess it took a bit longer" I explained but he just shook his head. "I don't care." He told me with the same annoyed expression.
I got the message that he wasn't interested in my reasoning so I didn't explain anything further. "It will not happen again" I simply mumbled, not looking him in the eyes. He didn't say anything and got up, walking over to me. "I hope so. Now here is a list of things you're gonna work on today. Mainly calls and making appointments with business partners. Your office is next to mine. You will find a laptop and an I Phone there that you can also use for private stuff if you want to. I will call you if I need you" he said all at once as he handed me a folder.
