It was Saturday, 2:30 pm and I had just finished eating my lunch. Luke was gonna pick me up at 6, since the gala was gonna start at 7. I made my way to the bathroom and turned the shower on before stepping inside. I just let the hot water fall down onto me as I closed my eyes and tried to relax. I've been really stressing out over everything the past few hours. I knew that I was gonna have to be around Mr. Greenfield a lot tonight, which worried me the most. I was also pretty scared of not fitting in, since I knew the guest list. There was mostly gonna be really well known rich and wealthy people there. I had no clue how I was supposed to fit into this and I was worried of embarassing myself in front of pretty much the whole British high society.
When I was done in the bathroom, I put my wet hair up into a towel and then started to do my make up. I didn't want to overdo it and look like a barbie doll but I also wanted to look more elegant than usually and like I made an effort. When I was somewhat happy with how my make up looked after almost an hour, I turned on the TV and painted my nails.

Once my nails had dried, I went to curl my hair and twisted it to the back, creating a half updo kinda. I was actually quite happy with how my hair turned out.

By the time that I was pretty much done, it was 5:30 so I had enough time to finish everything off without rushing. I brushed my teeth and did some last touch ups, putting my lipstick and some more hairspray on. I then took my dress out of it's bag and put it on as well as my heels. I looked at myself in the mirror and bit my lip. I've never seen myself look this grown up and elegant before. I loved the dress so much and it went well with my hair and make up. It made me feel really good about myself which didn't happen too often.
