Angel's POV

"You should probably clean that off." The clown pointed to my face. "It doesn't suit you." I didn't say anything to him. I knew that he killed my parents. They had several cards sticking out them. In fact, they were the only ones with cards in them. I guess they put up quite a fight for this seemingly lazy guy to attack.

I walked to the side railing of the ship and threw myself over it. The quickest way to get clean was to do that but it seems that I shocked a couple of the troupe. Just about as soon as I jumped in was I pulled out by invisible string.

"Are you trying to kill yourself?" The pink haired girl, Machi, asked in a nonchalant tone.

"The clown told me to wash off... that's what I was doing." Surprisingly, the tall man wasn't offended by my rude nickname.

"If I didn't get you went I did then you could have gotten carried away by the current."

"No I wouldn't have. I'm not stupid. I live on an island for goodness sake. I know what happens if you get lost at sea." I pointed to a lock of my hair that was connected to the railing and about 16 feet longer than the rest of my hair. "I made sure that I would have a way back up." She clicked her tongue and mumbled something under her breath.

I turn around and see Feitan approaching the strand of hair. "Why is this here?" He reaches his hand out to pull it off of the railing.

"No! Don't touch-" but I was too late. He grabbed my hair and pulled on it harder than expected. My legs twitched and my hips expanded, I felt my chest get a little heavier, and I gasped in pain and shock. (A/N: this isn't a drastic change but it is noticeable if someone is paying close attention.) This event grabbed the troupe members' attention. Feitan let go of my hair once he processed what happened. I dropped to the ground and hugged all of my hair around me. "You monster! How could you pull on my hair like that?"

The clown laughed with amusement as his eyes scanned me. It seems he's the only person who noticed.... great. "So your hair is sensitive. Is that it?" I didn't know how to answer that question. Technically, it is sensitive by Broyk nature but that wasn't my main issue with him pulling my hair.

I hugged my hair closer to my pink face and looked away. "N-no. That's not it at all." I had to keep my body hidden until it returned to its original size.

Feitan's eyes stayed on me a while longer before he let the matter go. I felt my chest return to its original size so I could finally lower my arms. I decided to wash myself off on the ship this time so I wouldn't have to worry about Machi grabbing me again. I changed into a strange short, white dress that Machi called an 'uwagi.'

I went to sleep early that night, seeing as I didn't have anything to do and the murderers and I aren't very social with each other at the moment. When my bed hit the pillow, I was out.

Feitan's POV

'I can't wait until I can get rid of this girl. I can't stand her.'

I heard some strange noise when I walked past Angel's cabin. It was muffled so I opened the door to get a better listen. I could finally make out with the noise was. She was crying. And she wasn't just crying, her eyes were pouring. I realized that she was still sleeping.

'The death of her clan must have just gotten to her. How interesting.'

Angel's POV

For the next couple of months I stayed with the Phantom troupe at their home in Meteor City and occasionally go on missions. At first it was because I didn't have a job or any money so I literally couldn't leave... but now...

When I was bored, I would play games with Shalnark and read books with Shizuku. When other members would leave, I ended up staying with Hisoka until they came back. I didn't mind the man much, in fact, I got along with him fine most days. He is pretty decent when you get to know him.

Today I walked into the city and out of our home for the first time. Soon after I began walking, I got the feeling that someone was behind me. When I turned around, I found Feitan walking up to meet me.

"You know the rules. We need to stay in pairs, especially with you being inexperienced." His eyes looked just as tired as ever and his voice sounded cold.

"Didn't I almost kick your ass and besides I don't need to follow those rules. I'm not a member of your damn spider." I turned to continue walking but I found Feitan appeared in front of me, preventing me from moving on.

He just kept staring at me, as if he were trying to kill me with just his eyes. I knew that Feitan enjoys torture too so it's possible that he would try to use it on me to keep me from pissing him off.

He reached a hand out to me and slowly moved to my neck. 'This is it. This is the day I die!' I closed my eyes and prepared myself to see my clan again but nothing happened. I opened my eyes timidly and looked at him. His hand was hovering over the long, thick braid my hair was in. Instead of the usual 'I'll kill you' look he gave me, this one said 'Im gonna do it! I'll pull your hair!'

"N-" He held a firm grip on my hair and yanked it hard. "O-ow!" I felt my chest get heavy and I felt my pants get tighter. 'Dammit. It's happening again!' When this first happened, Feitan didn't seem to notice anything but this time was different. I couldn't cover myself with my hair and today I decided to wear a tight, white shirt and high waisted blue jeans.

He lowered his eyes to my now stretched shirt and then looked back at me, confused this time. I snatched my braid from him and huffed. "I'm going to the city now." I felt embarrassed and wanted to hide away in a hole for the rest of my life but Feitan wouldn't let me leave until I answered his unvoiced question. "What do you want, Feitan?!"

"I'd watch what I said if I were you." He reaches for my braid again.

"Okay! Okay! Fine... what do you want?" I looked at my feet as I ran my hands through the tips of my hair.

"What happened to your body?" His voice always carries an annoyed tone in it. I couldn't tell if he was actually curious or not.

"Like I told you guys, my body changes sometimes without my commands or permission." I started to leave. "I won't tell you any more than that." He gave up on following me which was a relief. I just hope things settle down by the time I get back.

I came back to the base after I explored the city and ate lunch. When I walked in, Chrollo was sitting in the middle of the front room with the troupe around him. "Welcome back my Angel."

They never sit around like that so I could tell something was up. "Hi?" It was already strange enough to see Chrollo home when he isn't here most of the time. I put down my bag and held up a few to-go bags. "I got everyone lunch. $126.78 was the total to feed you black holes so someone needs to transfer that money to me or you can pay me individually. I would have made lunch but we don't-"

"Angel." I stopped walking but didn't turn to face them.

"Yeah?"

"We want you to be a member. It's your choice but we can't let someone who is not a member know about our home." In other words, they would kill me if I don't join.

"I don't want to kill anyone for you and I don't want to cause trouble for anyone. Whatever your consequences are for me, I will gladly accept."

"Very well... but first," A small gleam appeared in the leader's eyes. "What do you think of everyone?"

'This is probably a test. If I answer incorrectly then they might kill me... but what happens if I tell the truth? Can't hurt to try.'

"What do I think? Well for starters,"
