Angela and Peter

Character Summaries: they are the biological parents of Angel and adoptive parents of Hitomi. They care deeply for both of the girls but push them, especially Angel, to become more powerful. With the job to protect the island, they know death could be lurking around the corner, so they want the girls to be self-sufficient.
Peter tends to be a bit distant from Angel but he cares for her as much as any father would. He knows that if he were to baby her then she wouldn't have acquired the power that she has now.
Angela shows no outward emotion, unless she's alone with her husband. When Angel was punished for rescuing the women who were abducted, she didn't shed a tear until she went home and was able to hide her agony behind her bedroom door. Angela set up most of the rules and ensured that preexisting rules were followed by her daughters.
They both have a lot of care for their biological daughter, but they usually dictate what she does with her life. That also means that they decide who she will be with. When Haku came to their house and explained his love for their daughter, they were ecstatic. They knew that at least one of their daughters would live well off so they were completely willing to give her away and even force her to be with the chef-to-be.
They raised both of their girls well and trained them in several ways and taught them how to do most everything. Hitomi had several problems though. She fell short when it came to training, she couldn't forage for food, was awful at cooking, and needed extra attention. Even though she seemed helpless, they cherished her and she became a good fighter. Angel excelled in everything she tried and was a true Bryok warrior. The couple allowed Angel to come on military missions when another small country needed extra assistance. The three of them could easily wipe out the opposing sides foot soldiers. Because of these services to other countries, the Bryok clan became very prosperous for such a small nation.

Deaths: killed by Hisoka of the Phantom Troupe. Stabbed to death.

Family: Daughter Hitomi (deceased, killed by Uvogin), Daughter Angel (Alive)

Power: body manipulation, hair manipulation, enjoys hand-to-hand combat.
